Mission: At Play for a Cause we believe in the unique fusion of philanthropy, athleticism, and social interactions. Founded with the vision to revolutionize the fundraising landscape, we are a non-profit platform that organizes and hosts dynamic sporting & social events for a cause. Donors don't just contribute; they sweat, run, jump, compete, and dine, making every dollar raised a testament to their physical dedication and heart-felt commitment. By intertwining the passion for sports and interacting with others with the desire to make a difference, Play for a Cause ensures that every event is not just a donation, but a celebration of community, stamina, and the relentless human spirit. Together, we are making strides towards a better world, one event at a time.
Results: Each Play for a Cause Event raises charitable donations for fully 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Organizers, our "Coaches", use our platform to design, plan, and execute social/sporting events by selling tickets that donors, our "Players", participate in. Corporate Sponsors, our "GMs", can contribute specifically to causes or overall. The PFaC platform collects and distributes the donations without the Coaches having to become their own organization, while helps them create events that are personalized to them. In our initial year, our run rate was raising over $10k a month for charities. PFaC is entirely volunteer run and each event uses donations of event facilities, food, and other aspects to ensure that almost all of the donor donations go directly to the related charities.
