My daughter has been using Planned Parenthood for her health service. She has not been able to get a job that is full time and provides health insurance. Affordable, professional and accessible Planned Parenthood has proved to be a valuable resource for her. They have a sliding scale and she can obtain birth control that allows her to choose when she will have a child and prevents a possible abortion. They are much much more than an abortion provider! They probably prevent many because of the affordability of all kinds of birth control

Programs: The planned parenthood south atlantic health center team ensures access to comprehensive reproductive health care by providing services in settings which preserve and protect an individual's right to privacy, dignity,and choice. Services include: -> birth control consultation and supplies,-> gynecological exams and pap tests, -> in-clinic abortion and abortion pill, -> emergency contraception, -> pregnancy testing and options information, -> testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, -> permanent birth control- no-scalpel vasectomy and essure, and -> rapid hiv testing
