Mission: PRISM ( Pittsburgh Region International Student Ministries, Inc.) exists to identify and help meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of international students, scholars and their families in the Pittsburgh area. PRISM does this for the honor and love of Jesus Christ who commanded that disciples be made among all ethnic groups ("nations"), so that Christ''s Kingdom will expand throughout the world. PRISM carries out this mission in the context of relationships with Non-Christian internationals, with whom PRISM prayerfully seeks out opportunities to present the Gospel in love and with sensitivity to their ethnic heritage and religious convictions, with the hope that they would choose to follow Christ. PRISM carries out this mission in the context of relationships with Christian internationals, to whom PRISM demonstrates Christ''s love by providing opportunities for fellowship, discipleship and ministry.
Programs: This program gives international students/scholars and their families the opportunity to have an American Christian Friendship Partner. This program allows for friendship, exposure to the Gospel and cross-cultural exchange.
