teaching of chess classes in public schools and at the club premises. Conducting adult & childrens' chess tournaments which benefit many area residents. We have hosted national childrens' chess tournaments. Four times a year we publish our award winning chess newsletter "en passant" for our membership and guests. Chess benefits the individual by using logic, reasoning, memory, sportsmanship, planning, social interaction and art promoted by learning & by playing chess is recognized by educators today.
