I applied for financial assistance for medical bills for breast cancer treatment. The application process was very easy. Allura reached out to me and was very kind and helpful. I received a very thoughtful care package with gifts and a handwritten card. Allura also provided me with updates until the board of directors approved my application and the payment went through the same day. It was such a relief and I'm so grateful for Pink Warrior Advocates and especially Allura for advocating for me and helping me along the way.

Pink Warrior Advocates provides $10,000 a month in financial grants to those who are dealing with the financial burden of a breast cancer diagnosis. With the understanding that the effects of cancer are forever, a warrior is a warrior for life and they don't need to be actively going through treatment to receive assistance. The emotional support gives warriors the comfort of having a safe space to openly discuss their struggles with others who understand first hand. In addition to the local support provided, Pink Warrior Advocates also has two national programs that send out care kits and mastectomy bras. This is an organization that provides the much needed community for those facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
Hello! I just had a mastectomy for Stage 2A breast cancer and found Pink Warriors as I am now recovering in Seguin, Texas near New Braunfels. What a God Send to find you all. I just got my Pink Warrior kit delievered to my DOOR - who still does that? It is filled with all kinds of great stuff including I believe around 100 dollars worth of cosmetics. We girls must look good, always! My first contact was with Allura Williams- What a postive and upbeat person! I hope to meet her at some point.
in Seguin until mid January for continuing treatment. Then, I will return to my home in Paris, France- Merci mille fois- again, thanks a million! June Rives
PWA helped me when I needed it most. Their financial support gave me hope that is hard to find when you are surrounded by medical bills. Thank you PWA!
I became a donor after going through the journey myself and learning about this passionately driven group that works toward educating Warriors going through this journey and supporting them emotionally, personally and financially in any way they can. I've been fortunate to be witness to many testimonials of what this support has meant and how it changed their lives.
There aren't many agencies to offer this kind of support and I want to continue to help as much as we can, I can't imagine the fear and uncertainty of going through breast cancer alone, without any support. Help this group if you can, they are truly a band of pink angels
I first came to know of PWA when my niece was diagnosed with breast cancer several years ago. I don't know what to say except they are an amazing organization! Allura lives 2000 miles from home and It was hard (to put it mildly) for all of us at home, not to be able to be with her, although we thank God for her husband, in-laws and friends that were there when we couldn't be. And then there was PWA, who's band of pink warriors stepped in to help in any way they could. Financially, emotionally and spiritually. This group truly makes a difference during a devastating time in a person's life. I know they have impacted her life in a most positive way!! I've met several of the warriors and they awesome! Fighting the fight with you, or for you, and never giving up. Go PWA!!!
I was diagnosed with stage two her2 positive breast cancer back in 2019. I was beyond devastated and didn’t know where to turn. I was so very blessed to have found Pink Warrior Advocates in my local area. I didn’t need financial support during this challenging time but needed sisterhood. I needed to be surrounded by other women who have fought and were fighting. This remarkable organization helped save my life. I am forever grateful for the many lasting friendships and support PWA has provided. Pink Warrior Advocates is a true blessing to those in our commmnity.
Pink Warrior Advocates is a nonprofit that my daughter Jen Reynolds started after not being able to find support in our area for those diagnosed with breast cancer. It started with a little idea of making heart pillows and drain bags to distribute among those having mastectomies and pairing up those that were survivors with those that were newly diagnosed to help them thru their journey. It has come so much further than that.
I have talked with newly diagnosed women, and it is amazing what just listening to their fears can do to bring them some peace or having a place where they are able to reach out in the middle of the night with questions and waking up to answers on our support page or helping someone in our area stay in their home or get their next treatment thru our local financial aid program, having a meeting each month where they can find friendship among others that are going thru the same battles at our TV Thursday program. We are not only a nonprofit, WE are a sisterhood of women helping each other. In January of 2022, we lost our founder and my daughter Jen Renyolds. She would be the first to tell you that she did not lose her fight, she won by living her life and creating an organization that will live on and help others for many years to come.

I am the secretary on the board of directors. 2020 was a very challenging year. We started the year with big plans on what fundraisers we would be doing, but as of March all of those big plans went out the window with Covid and social distancing. However this organization came up with some really inventive ideas on how to still raise funds, and our community supported us with open arms. We made face masks at the beginning when there were none available, raised spirits with drive by boogies, flocked our neighborhoods in October and had a drive in hoedown . This organization is truly dedicated to helping warriors and survivors diagnosed with breast cancer. Because of team work we were able to keep people in their homes, help feed their families, pay medical bills, keep the utilities on and so much more during a time that was hard for everyone but especially those dealing with cancer. It is such an honor to work with women who care so much about helping others.
Beyond thankful for Pink Warrior Advocates. Not only have they financially helped me during the worst of my cancer fight, they continue to support me as a sister of strength & courage. They teach us how to thrive but also how to lift up others… spreading positivity and joy infectiously in our community! Just like our founder. Love you Jen. #livelikejen
PWA ROCKS!!!! These ladies are awesome and are so needed. Not all women have a support system (myself included). These ladies showed up in pink tutu’s, flamingo outfits, the whole deal at my last radiation treatment to support me. I have no words to express how much this meant to me. It’s so nice & calming to talk to someone who’s walked this path before you & understands the fear & All the anxiety going on. Just knowing that you’re not alone in this battle helps tremendously. PWA Thank You Amazing, Amazing group of ladies.
This year I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer at age of 35. I felt so many emotions and most of all I was scared. I got that phone call from advocate imidiatly after I found out about PWA.On other line it was one nice, positive and encouraging voice guiding me true all thats happening and will happen. After that I felt so much better and informed a calm. They helped me with so much financially and emotionally. Whenever I need information or encouraging word i can just text and ask and I will get support imidiatly. These girls always have some fun stuff goin on and everybody is always welcome. I cant describe how much I appreciate everything they are doin and they are doin it with smile on their face. Thank you PWA
PWA is an amazing organization. Without PWA I would have been completely lost during my cancer treatment. They continue to amaze me even more. PWA is willing to help anyone fighting a cancer diagnosis. Thank you PWA for always been here for my family and I.
I am eternally grateful for PWA and helping me each step of this cancer journey.
As a survivor, advocate, and now part of the BOD as a employee, I have experienced so many incredible moments in my life since being introduced when I was diagnosed in 2019 with triple positive bc. Our founder, Jen Reynolds, created pink warrior advocates to ensure no one has to go through their breast cancer journey alone and my life is forever changed because of this organization and all those who I’ve been blessed to now advocate for. I am forever grateful to God and this Flock!
Where do I begin???? I am a 2 time cancer survivor. I had childhood cancer and the radiation recieved caused my breast cancer at 32 years old. I was a single, working mother with 2 small kids and had just started chemo when their founder Jen Reynolds came into my life. The woman who ran this successful non profit answered the phone. This woman met me the very next day for lunch. This incredible human told me that she had just been rediagnosed WITH STAGE IV CANCER, and she took the time to meet me. To support me. To change me. This non profit has literally changed the trajectory of my ENTIRE LIFE. I started volunteering, was eventually asked to join the board, and helped create and develop fundraisers and programs for this beautiful organization. They gave my cancer purpose. Jen gave my cancer purpose. Our beautiful leader passed at the beginning of this year and our board, including myself, decided to continue her mission of providing support to breast cancer warriors both emotionally and financially to ensure that they NEVER FIGHT ALONE!!!! This is a club you never want to be part of, but with Pink Warrior Advocates you never have to face this alone. I love this organization, the woman that founded it, and the warriors and people that I have met through it. I am a PINK WARRIOR ADVOCATE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. Someone had sent me a gift basket from the Warriors. So I called the Warriors to thank them. I was having a hard time at the time because I was starting chemo and I had to cut back on my hours at work so they paid my rent, my car payment and electric bill. That helped me tremendously. From there they invited me to a TV Thursday I went. The pinkwarriors have some awesome people. They help me get through this cancer. Last June I had a bilateral mastectomy. Now I am cancer free. But I will continue to go to the pink warriors TV Thursdays for as long as I can because they are my biggest support ever and the people in the pink warriors are genuine, very supportive and they’re just very caring people. I think God for them every day because I don’t think I would’ve gotten through all this without them. thank you pink warriors!
Pink warriors advocate are an amazing group. Every person I’ve had contact with has been loving and generous. Their care packages for the newly diagnosed are so thoughtfully curated. I was just recently diagnosed but the more I learn and interact with these ladies the more I truly love them.
This is the club you never want to join but if you have to, having PWA with you every step of the way is truly a game changer. Getting the diagnosis that I have breast cancer has been a rollercoaster of emotions and having their support and love through it all is hard for me to even describe it in words yet as I want to do it justice. For now I’ll just say how grateful I am to God for leading me the way to them. If I have questions, just want to vent or share good news or bad news they are always there. They put on amazing events to benefit warriors & they do all with so much love. No matter if it’s financial support, emotional support or something else you may be looking for in a breast cancer support group I promise PWA won’t disappoint. Or if you are just looking to get involved or volunteer I really feel like you will see quickly what changing lives feels like. So many work so hard to together to make this group the absolute best!
So thank you board members, volunteers, survivors & warriors! All of you have made such an impact on my cancer journey and I love you all for that. God bless you!
Pink Warrior Advocates is a Godsend!!! The emotional support they give to not only me, but my husband as well is amazing. I say they keep me sane because I lose my mind often. This is a scary journey that no one wants to travel, but I'm thankful for the beautiful, strong, kick butt sisters I've met. I now know I'm not alone.
Pink Warrior Advocates is an amazing organization. They provide support and partnership to women and their families going through a diagnosis and treatment, ensuring that they do not battle alone. Their mission is vital to helping some of the most vulnerable in our community, and they do it all with excellence!
This charity is the best one I've ever volunteered for & also been on the other end as a recipient for funds during my breast cancer fight. They truly care about their community, put community first, & give back in the most generous ways possible! If I could give more than 5 stars, PWA would certainly be worth it!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer June 2021. Almost immediately the medical expenses started piling up I started stressing, losing weight, couldn't work much due to chemotherapy side effects. Not sure who directed me to PWA but I'm forever grateful. I cannot express the amount of compassion and generosity the Pink Warrior Advocates have shown me. They have been a blessing at this most difficult time of my life, a light in a dark tunnel. I am amensly grateful for all that they've done from assist with rent, medical expenses, and even HEB card. Couldn't have had more perfect timing hands down best holiday blessing possible. Cancer can be devastating but with organizations like these it gives us hope and eases the anxiety of how I'm going to get by. I'm truly grateful and humbled for their generosity. I hope one day I can also contribute to helping others with this terrible disease. We need more people like them in this world maybe even strive to follow suit.
Eternally grateful

Pink Warrior Advocates (PWA) is such an amazing organization. Their dedication to providing emotional and financial support and spreading breast cancer awareness is truly a blessing.
Pink Warrior Advocates is a wonderful organization. They are one of the first organizations I reached out to upon receiving my Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2020. They were kind, and let me know they had individuals I could talk to if I needed to. They also provided me with a wonderful chemo kit, which I was so grateful for. They truly are caring and giving, and are a good local organization that is doing amazing things!

I am currently undergoing treatment for Breast Cancer, and Pink Warrior advocates has been such a help our family in a variety of ways. The chemo kit they sent was wonderful, and all of the items in it were so thoughtful. It helped to boost my spirits in the midst of a trying time. Desiree is wonderful to talk to, and they have survivors willing to help you talk things over, if needed. They truly are salt and light to all they minister to. Thank you, PWA, for helping those who need it. May the Lord bless your ministry in the years to come!
I am forever grateful for this organization. Going thru breast cancer is tough. Going thru breast cancer during a pandemic was even more so. Glad I found this incredible group of women to support me both financially & emotionally. All the love. Xo.
PWA has been so much more than a financial blessing. From the first time we connected with the staff at PWA, we knew they were a God send. The people that run this advocacy are survivors themselves and were very open about sharing their stories of survival. The very next day after contacting them, they hand delivered a care package (mastectomy kit) to my wife that included much needed supplies and pillows for arm support and comfort. Allura shared her survival fight story that is still on going. What an inspiration these ladies are and so helpful by reaching out to my wife and just offering encouragement. This whole life event caught us both by surprise. We had just sold our house and closed on another in April. We soon found out that my wife would require a bi-lateral mastectomy in May and about a 6 month regiment of chemotherapy. My wife worked as a private duty nurse job and lost her job because she was no longer able to work. I am a realtor and I put my business on idle while helping care for my wife and running her back and forth to doctor's appointments. We reached out to several organizations seeking assistance but so far PWA is the only help we've received. We are thankful that they were able to assist us for some up coming July expenses and are confident that God will continue to put people in our paths to get us through this time. Pink Warrior Advocates has shown so much grace through their giving and encouragement. I want to encourage you to give to organizations like PWA for they truly are doing God's work.
This non profit organization came to me when I was at one of my lowest points. I was tired. I had been fighting metastatic thyroid cancer when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. It was so OVERWHELMING! I had a mastectomy and complications from that and had been back in the hospital as the holidays were coming. Jen reached out to me asking if this organization could bless my family at Christmas. I cried then and I cry now thinking about that message. It was such a burden lifted off my husband and I on how to figure out how to give our 5 children a great Christmas. PWA did and I will forever be grateful and love this organization with my heart and soul!
I can't say enough about the Pink Warrior Advocates. They have helped me in the past with a chemo care package and a special bra. I knew then I had to be involved giving back so I started to volunteer when I can and fun it is as well. These ladies continue to help others in need as much as possible. I'm not one to really ask for help financially but I may need to. We recently had several busted pipes due to the freeze and could not find what we needed to fix. My cousin in Florida reached out and is sending what we need to be 100%. I wanted to pay her and she said pay it forward. So I will be donating $135.00 to the Pink Warrior Advocates. Love all of these ladies.

I'm somewhat shy about posting personal information so here I go. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. I had surgery to remove my breast and then 6 months later I started the reconstruction surgery which was tougher on me then the original surgery. Moving along to 2019 I found another lump in the same breast that was removed. Had surgery again to remove my implant since the tumor was growing on the side of it. Started chemotherapy and then 38 rounds of radiation. Just when I really felt down and out an ex coworker Allura Williams reached out because we had something in common, CANCER! Well she paid it forward and gave me some items from the PWA. After that we attended a few meetings together and we volunteered to work at Bras for a Cause which was a blast. I can't say enough about PWA since I received a chemo care kit and also helped me with a special bra. I will never forget what they have done for me and miss our Thursday night meetings at the Faust Hotel where we talked, learned how to tie head scarves, and also tried on wigs. They are truly amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
PINK WARRIOR ADVOCATES have been my saving Grace through my own battle with Stage I Breast Cancer. The level of emotional support and financial assistance is such a blessing to our community! I am honored to be working along side the founder, co-founder, and the wonderful board of directors as their Admin to continue to make a difference for our incredible warriors!
Pink Warrior AdvoCates is truly the most amazing non profit I have ever seen. Jen has the biggest heart and works so hard advocating for women who are fighting for their lives but also their means to live and provide financially for their families. Her passion is contagious and her heart is so pure and caring. It has been a pleasure to see women thrive with her support!
Hello. My name is Ann. I recently applied for financial assistance. I was very concerned about paying my bills and reached out to Pink Warrior Advocates. It took them a matter of days to approve my application. What I received was so so much appreciated. I cannot be more thankful to them for their help It meant so much to me
Pink Warrior Advocates is the ONLY association that came through for me.
Thank you Pink Warrior Advocates.
Since being diagnosed with breast cancer in April,2019 and unable to work it has been a struggle financially for my family. I am truly happy that I did look into this amazing organization . Never did I think that there was a group willing to help me financially but also to get to know me. I am forever grateful that a Sister Warrior (Tiffany Garza) shared with me Pink Warrior Advocates. Since speaking with Desiree and her assisting me.. she took a big burden off my shoulders. I literally wanted to fall to my knees and cry for helping me through this tough time. Thank you Pink Warrior Advocates and look forward to sharing with other Sister Warriors what a great group you all are!!
I was referred to this amazing group by a representative at Texas Oncology. With the worry of being diagnosed on top of the financial burden that comes with cancer. Co pays, deductibles no one is ever prepared for it. PWA helped relieve some of the financial burden by helping pay my biggest bill.
I seriously could not thank the enough for what they did .
I’ve had the honor of serving with PWA for the past year, connecting with our community & seeing how the smallest gesture of concern, assistance, and love can go so so far. To see a single mom thrive after treatment, to pay it forward, to a grandmother meeting her grandchild the first time... what we do is so much bigger than cancer. It’s life.
PWA is one of my all-time favorite non-profits to help and support! I have been a volunteer off and on since the very beginning and all I can say is I LOVE watching this organization grow! PWA has helped so many of my personal friends from meals to helping provide a car for a patient in need. The sisterhood, the ongoing support, and most of all the love and dedication that is put into this organization makes PWA the BEST non-profit around!
I had not heard of PWA before my sister was diagnosed. PWA was a lifesaver then and was a lifesaver again for my mother in law!!!! The incredible support, helpful items they give these warriors to use in healing and the money they raise to assist them is phenomenal. I hope you will help them too! These are some amazing survivors running this this fantastic group.
PWA has been a Godsend to our community. Jen and her team work tirelessly to make sure women in our area are well informed, educated, have a hand to hold and a shoulder to cry on throughout their breast cancer journey. I haven’t even mentioned the supplies they deliver to those in need, it’s just incredible.
Watching this team work behind the scenes amidst this years pandemic has been eye opening. They have answered every challenge with a can do attitude which is exactly what they’re beneficiaries can expect when they are faced with coming to this wonderful organization for help. A can do attitude, a smile, warm and loving arms and hearts that care.
This is such an amazing organization. They give so much back to our local community and it truly changes the lives of those battling cancer. It’s amazing to see the outreach to so many who would otherwise be doing this alone.
Jen & the Pink Warriors team are amazing. The support they offer to women during their cancer battle is incredible. Personally speaking, Jen was such a resource & support for me during my breast cancer journey, and PWA has provided chemo & mastectomy kits to several others I know. This organization is truly a treasure for our community!!
Pink Warrior Advocates is fantastic! When I thought I was going to have a double mastectomy, this fabulous group sent me a free mastectomy kit. It had a beautiful, girly, comfy heart pillow with matching bulb holder, business card, and information pamphlet. My diagnosis changed, so for now, no mastectomy, but my doctors are keeping a very close watch on me. The Facebook group has allowed me to ask questions, and someone has always been able to give me more information. They are supportive and a huge blessing. These women are doing awesome work!
PWA is an amazing organization. Without PWA I would have been completely lost during my cancer treatment. They continue to amaze me even more. PWA is willing to help anyone fighting a cancer diagnosis. Thank you PWA for always been here for my family and I.
This non-profit has such heart and determination to continually help others. They have been creative in their approach to still serve those women in need despite several setbacks due to COVID-19. I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to volunteer in various ways with such inspiring and strong women.
Helped me connect to woman who "get it". I was diagnosed at 20, shortly after my husband asked for a divorce, and I was alone. These woman welcomed me with open arms and gave me connections I'll never forget.
Jen Reynolds is an amazing person who cares so much about her community and the women, the families and everyone else Pink Warrior Advocates has helped. This organization has done so much for families in need and I am so grateful to have Jen in my life!
This is a group of powerful and strong women who are here to help in any way possible. I have experienced such wonderful guidance and couldn’t have made it without the support of this group!
What an incredible organization!! They truly help those in need significantly. They go above & beyond. I highly recommend Pink Warriors for cancer patients needing any type of help!
I was fortunate to learn of Pink Warrior Advocates and attend their annual gala last year. It was so comforting to learn of an organization that helps breast cancer patients locally. Being a Metastatic Breast Cancer patient, expensive medical bills are just one of the difficulties involved in battling the disease. I asked Pink Warrior Advocates to help with one of the copays for a medical bill. The application process was simple and the assistance was quickly received. The assistance and services that they provide are wonderful and I know I can always count of them for either emotional or financial support.
Pink Warrior Angels Hill Country is an amazing nonprofit. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2019 and had a bilateral mastectomy on January 3, 2020. I am going through chemo right now and afterwards will have radiation and eventually reconstruction.
My physical therapist (for lymphedema) told me to check out Pink Warrior Angels, so I googled them and all I could find was this one. I live in Belton, Texas which is in central Texas, but that did not stop them from helping me. I received a wonderful chemo care box filled with so many helpful items to get me through this time. It literally made me cry. There was a card included that mentioned AnaOno bras and today I received a free one! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the ladies in this wonderful nonprofit.

PWA is an amazing organization that has helped my family and I since day one that I met them. I am currently battling breast cancer metastasis to the brain. Our journey has not been easy, but Jen and PWA have offered and given 110% and more, to assist us. We recently lost our son unexpectedly and are having to endure this tragedy. Jen and PWA immediately contacted us to offer assistance. The assistance that we have received is more than we could have ever asked for. They paid off our vehicles, so we could use those funds for family therapy. We would be completely lost without them. We are deeply grateful for Jen and PWA. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love Jen and PWA.
I was diagnosed with Stage II Breast Cancer. Scared and literally alone, I went through two surgeries and now going through Chemo. I was laid off up from my employeer while battling cancer. Now I not only had to fight this dieses but now I'm trying to figure out how to keep my insurance and pay my bills. I heard about this organization, Pink Warrior Angels. I wrote them told them about my situation and they where a breath of fresh air. They made it easy for me to get the financial support I needed. I'm so thankful that there are organizations like this so I can focus on my recovery. Thank you for the support during this time in my life.....you made me feel like I was not alone in this battle.
I'm so blessed my eldest daughter told me about this wonderful organization. I reached out to the organization and was put in contact with the most wonderful lady named Desiree. She was there at every email I sent; she helped guide me through paperwork and helped when I felt I wouldn't be able to get through the tough times. Desiree was so kind and sweet, she really made me feel that there were people out there who cared enough to help during my biggest time of need. Pink Warriors Angels Hill Country are truly heaven-sent. They helped me enormously when I felt most alone. The financial and emotional support they provided went above and beyond what I could have imagined. They were so kind! They listened to my worries about missing work and understood my concern for all the bills I had to struggle to pay. They were always just there for me, when I needed them most. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am for their help. I whole-heartedly encourage cancer patients needing any kind of assistance or support to look into the Pink Warriors organization. They are a God-send for us breast cancer patients. Thank you again Pink Warrior Angel Hills Country, and God bless!

What a wonderful organization!! They truly helped me significantly during my time of need. They went above & beyond. I highly recommend Pink Warriors for cancer patients needing any type of assistance. The care kit was a wonderful surprise! Thank you PWA!!!
Thank you so much for my Chemo care kit! I was so excited to see what was inside! All the essentials! I think it’s amazing to have such a great organization that really dedicates the time to help and support women in the community during the most difficult time in our lives. I really could feel the love and unconditional support as I opened my kit. Right down to the personal note, Y’all are amazing! I can’t thank you enough! Xo Allura
Always thankful that PWA helps our pink
sisters with their financial giving and emotional support. Jens heart is to give big and that shows in the mission and work of their hands.
I am not a breast cancer survivor but my mom is, and the music teacher at my school is. PWA sent her a mastectomy care package when she was going through her surgery. I follow this charity closely and love the work they are doing so that no woman fights alone. Getting cancer diagnosis is just about the worst thing ever. Many of my family members have been affected by it and we have been fortunate enough to be able to have the means to pay for medical care or not worry about missed work. I can NOT imagine what it is like for those with those worries, especially to have to be able to provide for your children as well WHILE you're sick. I can't say enough good things about PWA. They are honoring wishes for those with stage 4 and helping others along the way. Keep up the good work ladies!
I have seen first hand how much PWA has helped the Texas Hill Country since its inception and I fully support this wonderful non profit. 100% of the funds raised go towards breast cancer survivors to help aid in every aspect from wigs, car payments, groceries... you name it! Jen is an absolute blessing to everyone that crosses her path and I am SO thankful that breast cancer survivors can turn to her & PWA when they are in need.
I can’t say enough great things about PWAHC. They do amazing things for so many people. I was lucky enough to attend one of their gala’s a few years ago and it was amazing.
My sister Jen Reynolds was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 at age 33. Not long after her experience of going through chemo and having a double mastectomy, she decided that other women going through this impossible time of life should have the support of others who have had experience going through this traumatic life change.
It was then that Pink Warrior Angels was started. Jen started a blog detailing her journey, where others could take solace in reading about her experience, ask questions and share in their path. This mentoring grew into an organization that provides chemo care kits, mastectomy kits and financial aid for those going through treatments.
Earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to attend their main fundraiser "Breast in Show Gala." Over 400 attendees raised over $100,000 . But that was not that most impressive part. I have attended and helped organize many non-profit events over the past 15 years and none of them were as well attended, organized, and emotional as this one. Every detail was carefully thought out and the stories from women who have benefited from this organization and created lifelong friendships by joining in a cause they care so deeply about, was simply amazing.
This year, they started a program called Metawish to help woman who are now stage IV fulfill a dream of theirs and they made their first dream come true sending a woman and her family to Hawaii.
Jen was recently diagnosed with stage IV herself, making this event even more meaningful for all of those her organization supports and those who support them back. It was awe inspiring to see the bonds these people have all made and the effect of how a little help from a lot of people can go a long way.
I have to admit I am very proud of my sister for taking the biggest lemon she could have been dealt and turning it into something that has helped so many other women. I would urge anyone who has the time, energy, or means to assist this organization in any way possible.
The words I have to say about PWA wouldn’t even cover the impact this organization has had on women in my life. Truly a fantastic group and I would recommend getting involved to any woman or man going through treatment.
Absolutely wholeheartedly believe this organization has positively changed many people’s lives. Helping diagnosed patients, along with their families, is just one of the many big things they do for the community. They also give back on a personal level, offering emotional and physical assistance during their time of need. There are just so many wonderful programs within- Metawish (making dreams come true to metastatic patients), Financial Assistance Program, Care Package Program, and even a wonderful Volunteer Program. Pink Warrior Angels Hill Country is built from love, sharing and hope and I recommend this to anyone looking for help after a diagnoses or wanting to give back through donations and volunteering!
PWAHC has been a great blessing to my family and I. They've helped me financially and emotionally. They have helped pay my rent and utilities when I couldn't and they granted my dream vacation through their new MetaWish program for metastatic Breast Cancer patients like myself, a cancer that has no cure. That's why we need to do more for stage IV, and I believe that PWAHC will be able to do that if they have your support. 100% goes back towards their purpose including their survivors to help aid in every aspect that cancer affects us!
PWAHC is such an amazing organization dedicated to helping women with breast cancer. This small local organization has had a BIG impact on many women and their families. If you have ever had a devastating health diagnosis then you can relate to the overwhelming anguish you feel only to be hit again with a financial blow. PWAHC helps alleviate both of these blows by offering emotional and financial support. I know of many woman who have been impacted in a very positive way by this organization.
When I first got involved with PWA Hill Country, I had no idea HOW MUCH impact this organization has. It wasn’t until I actually met the women and families who have been helped and lifted up by Pink Warrior Angels Hill Country, and I am so proud to be involved.
Whether it be helping someone pay their bills, providing emotional support at 3:00 in the morning, sending someone a chemo care kit, or granting a Metavivor’s lifelong wish, I know that Pink Warrior Angels Hill Country is making the world a better place one life at a time.
Its been such an amazing blessing to be a part of an organization that gives back in the way that PWA Hill Country gives back. I am blessed to witness the giving hearts and the women who benefit both emotionally and financially. I can truly say I am honored, and that this organization has given me a purpose.
I am so very blessed to have found the Pink Warriors organization. They blessed me at a time when I needed it the most. I am a cancer survivor and it has been a struggle daily to make ends meet sometimes. I am thankful for the journey although I wasn't prepared. Blessings to the Pink Warriors for their generosity and caring spirit to reach out and help others. I am so appreciative.
God Bless,
