Pink Ribbon Girls graciously supported me in my time of need. They supported me with friendship, information and a very generous and convenient meal plan. The meal plan was truly a life saver during COVID 19.
I just wanted to say that finding this group is a godsend and I hope that they are able to continue on doing what they are doing. They have been my angel from my initial diagnosis to my latest grim diagnosis. I utilized their meal, transport, and support services which have saved me when I needed it the most. Thank you PRG for being there!
My family received meals in 2014 while going through chemotherapy treatment. It was such a blessing! Since that time I have volunteered at numerous events and attended a few as a guest. At first PRG helped me to survive the daily challenges but now the PRG team and survivor sisters give me the opportunity to thrive!
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer during COVID so felt especially isolated. This group has inspired and supported me every step of the way, through two surgeries and about to go into a third. I know I can reach out at any time for support, and even though I'm across the country from most of these women, I feel like I've made friends. I especially love how they help motivate me and others to get moving, get walking even if to the corner and back, every step forward is celebrated and any step backward is understood. It is truly an inspiring bunch! I'm so grateful I followed up from that pamphlet in my Breast Cancer binder they handed me when I was diagnosed, confused, and overwhelmed.
I was invited to my first 'Pink Ribbon Girls(PRG) Coffee Talk' over 7 yrs ago, after I had already completed a lumpectomy & radiation. I was pleasantly surprised when everyone shared their stories and I felt connected with these women whom I had just met. I thought I was done with treatment except for the oral meds, I didn't know how much I needed to hear that their fears, questions & concerns were the same as mine. PRG Peer Support / Education is just as important to my health as the professional support I receive from my medical team. And the friendships I have made through PRG are the 'silver lining' of my cancer story. I love to volunteer for PRG to help raise funds, so that they can continue to provide FREE direct services to those currently in treatment. And I still attend 'Coffee Talks' today although they are currently Zoom Meetings due to Covid. I highly recommend getting involved with PRG for support; to give back and to pay it forward to the next person who will be diagnosed with Breast or Gynecological cancer. PRG is an awesome organization!
Pink Ribbon Girls (PRG) is an amazing organization that provides free and direct services for those going to through treatments for Breast and Gynecological Cancers. The Peer support program is amazing and survivors connect and support each others. Great organization!
PRG helped my family with meals after my surgery. It allowed more time to be spent as a family making memories. Later they provided me with peer support. A safe fun environment to speak with other survivors and the ability to experience new things at no cost. I now get the privilege of telling others about PRG and serving newly diagnosed clients.
I’m apart of the high school advisory board and have been working with Pink Ribbon Girls for years. With both my mom and grandma being diagnosed with breast cancer I’ve found a passion for serving others with PRG!
PRG is amazing! I was able to get meals to feed my family while going through treatment for breast cancer. after treatment I was able to meet many great woman. They have amazing coffee talks to connect with others in the area. I'm so glad I found PRG and will continue to be involved with them!

Pink Ribbon Girls services almost feel too good to be true. They provided free housecleaning while I was going through treatment. I’ve made lifelong friends through their network. I’m so thankful a non-profit like this exists that gives to what cancer patients really need.
The services PRG have provided me have been so helpful. I especially love the house cleaning service as chemo made me very tired. The staff are all very friendly and caring. I’m so grateful for PRG!
I had breast cancer and didn't know which way to turn. Pink Ribbon Girls was a wonderful help. They delivered chef made meals, to make sure I was eating healthy. They drove me to my appointments every day, and became great friends I felt comfortable with. Most have been through the process and shared their stories and tips.
I will always remember all of them and the great care and understanding they shared with me.
Love to all.
PRG provided me with free housecleaning services after I had a double mastectomy. I wouldn't have been able to keep up on my house after surgery otherwise. It was such a great service and provided at no cost. I felt awkward asking friends to clean for me so this was perfect. I also use and enjoy the peer support and community they offer.
This group of ladies are so easy to talk with!
Wonderful group get.
Provides much needed services to women or men that are going through treatment
I am proud to be a member of Pink Ribbon Girls, a local non-profit in the Cincinnati-Dayton area. The monthly Coffee Talks with other Breast Cancer survivors / fighters have been a great resource of information & support to me and we often have guest speakers come to tell us about the latest news in the fight against Breast Cancer. In addition to peer support, Pink Ribbon Girls also helps those who are going through treatment with nutritious family meals, house cleaning & patient transportation to treatments, at no cost to the recipients! Pink Ribbon Girls motto is No one travels this road alone.....I just know that I have formed friendships with some of the most caring, courageous and generous women I have ever met!
Amazing to be involved with this amazing charity - and to know the impact they are having on the daily lives of women fighting breast cancer in our community. A meal....a drive to treatment...or just someone to talk to - PRG is the BEST!
My sister was first diagnosed with breast cancer in her late twenties. She was then diagnosed with a re-occurrence of breast cancer, this time metastatic. Pink Ribbon Girls offered her their services and were a great help, both practically and emotionally, for my sister and our whole family.
My sister and her husband were the recipients of house cleaning as well as home-delivered meals, thanks to PRG. The house cleaning is such a valuable service - often as bills and appointments and stress build up, keeping up with vacuuming and dusting is the first thing to go... which leads to a cycle of being stressed anyway, then seeing your messy house and feeling more stressed! The cleaning helps to break that cycle, providing some relief in a time when it's sorely needed. Now those yummy meals... they were often shared with those of us there in the house on a given day helping to caregive, so I can attest to them being nutritious but also DELICIOUS! As my sister's condition worsened, it became harder to reliably leave the house with her, so it was so nice to know there were meals ready in the freezer at all times, so we wouldn't ever be stuck there without something to eat.
Finally, in the years before my sister died in February 2014, she felt lots of support as a YOUNG person with cancer, from the other members and the leaders at Pink Ribbon Girls. Offering companionship, resources, support and even just letting one know they are not alone... what a valuable service this group does for young women facing what is traditionally an older woman's disease. Thank you, Pink Ribbon Girls!
Pink Ribbon Girls provides much-needed services- meals, transportation, childcare and house cleaning- for young women undergoing breast cancer treatment. Their programs and events encourage awareness and have created a strong community throughout western Ohio. I'm so impressed with this group, and their committed, involved Board, staff and volunteers!
