The concerts are a great experience for the music lover and gives the performer a chance to perform. The PianoForte Foundation has made Chicago an even greater musical city.

PianoForte offers an extraordinary opportunity to hear music upfront and personal. The small performance area gets you fully engaged in the music experience. For instance, a family member who attends piano recitals in the large Pick-Stager Hall, Evanston, just couldn't express how exciting it was to be so close and involved in a string quintet's perfomance. It's really exciting.
PianoForte continusly delivers, offering the audience young new talent that can be amazing. We've be going to performances over the past 3 years and always leave happy.

I started attending the PianoForte lunchtime concerts regularly four years ago and got hooked on the amazing quality of the pianists and/or chamber players. These perfomances have always been enlighting because they were either completely new to me or they were great to see performed live. I can't emphasize more that seeing a live performance a familiar work is truely rewarding. Since then I've been attending most of their other events and was welcomed onto the board to provide support for encouraging others to participte in my love of the hammers hitting the strings. Puting my personal biases aside, I think The PianoForte Foundation offers a wonderful, and affordable, montage of piano artistry that everyone in the Chicago area should enjoy.

I have been involved with PianoForte Foundation since its inception six years ago. The quality of the programming always surpasses my expectations. From classical piano, to jazz and to boogie woogie, the experience is always great. It's great to hear music in such an intimate space and connect with the artists, during the performance and after at the receptions. In its short history, PianoForte Foundation has established itself on Chicago's art scene. It has become a destination for piano lovers and discerning listeners alike. It provides superb music at reasonable prices. And it is a saught after and respected venue for veteran or young artists to perform. All this thanks to the vision of Thomas Zoells, who does so much on a shoe string budget.
