I have volunteered with Phoenix Women's Outreach for the last 4 years. I have seen how they continue to grow and serve Houston and its surrounding communities by educating the community on domestic and sexual violence. I have gone to schools with Phoenix Women's Outreach to help educate teens on teen dating and sexual violence and witness these students ask numerous of questions concerning these issues and how some have been sexually abused and in abusive relationships at such a young age. I will continue to volunteer and serve with this phenomenal organization. You can join me by volunteering and donating to help them with expanding their services.
Phoenix Women’s Outreach’s annual event, Walk A Mile In My Shoes is how I learned more about PWO as an organization. Becoming a Board Member of PWO really opened my eyes to the amazing work of this organization and the lives that are touched. The work is endlessly, not only to fundraise but also to empower and educate our community. Phoenix Women’s Outreach represents greatness at the highest level. I am proud to be a part of and work with Phoenix Women’s Outreach.
I became involved with Phoenix women's outreach, because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of women and children that are struggling due to situations that are out of their control. Being able to give back and help others is so fulfilling. As a volunteer I am able to see first hand the work that is being done. To see a child's face light up because your able to hand them a pair of shoes or clothing they will need for that first day of school is very rewarding. I will continue to be a part of Phoenix women's outreach. I was also a recipient of their charitable giving after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2013. I am forever grateful and will continue to give my time to help others.... Brucett Mojay
