As a therapeutic community, we provide a safe and supportive environment for people with special needs and occasionally young people who might benefit from being part of a working farm community. We provide meaningful practical activiities toward maintaining or restoring human dignity.

Most come with school or church groups or through external programs such as outwward bound. We also offer classes, workshops and retreats in tradtional arts, wellness and other subjects of interest for adults through our program buttermilk falls folk school and retreat center.
