Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Human Services
Mission: 1. To provide education, training and ongoing support to qualified individuals in the practice of volunteer pet facilitated therapy (vpft); 2. To assist entities seeking vpft services in securing and applying such services; 3. To assist community-based organizations in sponsoring vpft programs; and 4. To promote standards of excellence for both the practice of vpft and the protection of therapy animals.
