Mission: Pets and People: Companions in Therapy & Service serves a need for all persons living with disabilities to utilize a service dog. The program foci include children and persons living with mental health disabilities. The program also utilized the human-animal bond to promote health and well being through therapeutic intervention with victims of abuse and violence, those in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, and persons who are homebound.
