Peoria Education Foundation

The Peoria Education Foundation is an organization of incredibly far-reaching value. While many others opine about underfunded schools or underpaid teachers, PEF does something about it. They not only enhance the possibilities for students, teachers and programs, their actions give business and community leaders an opportunity to do the same. Their support for the Peoria Unified School District is also support for the City of Peoria. The value that PEF brings is an investment in the future: the future of kids ready to take on a global workplace and the future of a City prepared to compete in a global economy.

I choose to volunteer time and financial support to Peoria Education Foundation because its members are so passionate and willing to meet the needs of our children and and to cultivate future successes for them. This foundation has an obvious, dynamic impact on the students and teachers in the District. It provides opportunities for enrichment and creativity to enhance the classroom setting.

In addition to raising funds that support excellence and opportunity for students, the Peoria Education Foundation fosters and celebrates positive relationships between the district and its schools and patrons outside the traditional school network. After having exposure to other such programs within Arizona and around the country, PEF stands out as a model of just how powerful and positive the building of bridges between public schools and community can be. By inviting participation by business and members of the community who may not have children in school, and demonstrating both the needs and the outcomes of PEF’s efforts, the organization is a true ambassador for the district it is dedicated to supporting.

In my short time working with the Peoria Education Foundation we have seen the positive impact it has on so many lives. Everyone involved has a common goal that enhances each student and the community. I will continue to support the foundation in every way possible.

The Peoria Education Foundation has changed so many lives. It is amazing to see the impact they have on the students in our community. The people involved continue to impress me with their giving and kind nature. They have far exceeded my expectations and I am excited for the future of PEF as it only continues to improve and grow.

PEF has an amazing impact on students and teachers in the Peoria District. Few organizations change so many lives in so many profoundly positive ways.

The Peoria Education Foundation has enriched the lives of students and teachers' in more ways than I can count. Each year I am fortunate enough to meet those individuals who are recipients of the Foundation's support and these people are truly deserving of every opportunity available to them. The Foundation serves as a vehicle for students to reach their goals and the role it plays to the Peoria Unified School District is invaluable.

I have served on many board of directors. This is the only one that change my life. Seeing the need and how the kids use our help to change their lives in a profoundly good way .Not a hand out but a hand up .
You can donate your money and know it doesn't go to grow the organization as 96 % of all income goes to help the kids and the teachers to better educate our kids thank you tom loegering

I have been honored to be a Board Member of the Peoria Education Foundation(PEF) since 2011, and have seen many students' lives directly impacted by the college scholarships received - enabling them to attend their choice of higher education when they may have had limited or no options prior. We offer student scholarships for community service and scholastic achievement; and for those who have achieved academic success despite seemingly insurmountable adverse life circumstances. We also offer grants to educators offering additional and/or innovative curriculum enrichment that would otherwise not be available. I am proud to be a PEF Board Member and appreciate the ways in which we have positively affected the Peoria Unified School District students and staff.
