Results: Founded in 1970 by volunteer nurses and doctors, People's has been serving the community for nearly 50 years. What started out small as a volunteer clinic in a church basement near the University of Texas has grown over the years to become a crucial stitch in Central Texas' health care safety net. We are proud to offer a trusted option for uninsured and underinsured Central Texans.
Now nearly 17,000 patients call People's Community Clinic their medical home each year, and growing. People's currently operates two primary clinic locations, including a dedicated women's health and prenatal clinic, as well as three satellite clinics in partnership with community organizations.

Programs: high quality, comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages on an affordable sliding scale basis. We work with patients to make sure they get the care they need, regardless of their insurance status or income level, and no patient is turned away because they can't afford the cost of care.
We also offer many wellness programs to help empower People's patients to take charge of their health, including positive parenting classes, healthy cooking classes, community exercise classes and more.
