Mission: The mission of the people's burn foundation is to provide support and advocacy services to burn survivors and their familiies and to educate our youth and communities on burn safety and prevention.
Programs: Camp saturday - a week long residential camp specifically designed for children ages 5 to 18 who have survived burn injuries. Burn survivors contend with many difficult psychological, physical and emotional issues such as peer acceptance as well as self-acceptance. By providing a safe and nurturing environment we give our campers a place to share their feelings and experiences with other children who have endured the same kind of injury as well as our licensed child and family therapist. Camp saturday is a year long program with therapeutic activities throughout the year.
