Mission: Pfadp is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and mobilize faith communities to act to abolish the death penalty in the united states.
Programs: Through pfadp-sponsored events and literature, pfadp helped tens of thousands of citizens throughout the united states to better understand the death penalty and to take a public stance on it. Pfadp offered several public education opportunities on the death penalty in 2014. Pfadp also has a website that was visited approximately 150,000 times throughout the year. Pfadp helped build the base of support among religious communities for repealing the death penalty across the country and held a national banquet to honor clergy and lay leaders for their leadership.
