Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Through community partnerships, people for a drug free youth promotes positive alternatives to drugs, alcohol, and harmful substances through education, support, and prevention strategies to the youth of southeast volusia county, florida.
Programs: We provide scholarships for graduating seniors at new smyrna beach high school and students at daytona state college.
we provided grants to the dare program in new smyrna beach, florida; the new smyrna beach police department's pal program; and elementary, middle and high schools in new smyrna beach, florida.
we donated clothing and furniture to disadvantaged individuals; cell phones to the new smryna beach police department victim advocacy program; eye glasses to the lion's club; blankets to the southeast volusia humane society; and clothing to frog ministries and calvary christian center for distribution to the homeless.
