Animals neutered my dog. The cost was affordable for me, a mother of 3 and a person who loves animals. I've had animas all my life and I know how expensive Vets are, I'm glad places like 'People for Animals" exits.

In 2014, my neighbor and I caught {trapped} 7 stray cats and brought them to People for Animals to be altered or spayed and vaccinated for a very nominal fee. We released them back to our neighborhood and built a shelter and of cause have continued to feed them. The staff at people for animals gave them terrific care and all did well. I have also had 5 of my own house pets taken care of there and the care is loving and gentle and supportive.

People For Animals policies support volunteers doing TNR. For instance, they understand that trapping can be unpredictable and therefore they facilitate surgical appointments for feral cats. They treat injured and sick feral cats.

My sharpei Susan Lucci was sick and I discovered that she had pyometria. She was in danger of dying. The vet wanted $2000 to spay her with the pyo. I didn’t have it and they gave me an antibiotic script and wished me good luck. I went to the mobile vet in the RV stationed near UMDNJ and talked to the vet there. She was unable to handle the surgery but she calmed me down and called People for Animals and made arrangements for my Lucci to be spayed that day and it saved her life. Thank you People for Animals for being there for me.

People for Animals is our New Jerseys low cost wellness and spay neuter programs. They are extremely efficient and organized with the drop off and pick up of our animals. Chelsy responds to emails timely and if I have any questions she is unable to answer she researches with her team and gets back to me. I love working with PFA. they offer a wonderful service to animal rescues, tNR programs and local communities offering wellness care to pets. I don't know what we would do without them.

I have depended on People for animals, for the past five years, in providing support And services, For their trap and release program for cats. They have supported my efforts to trap mother cats and their kittens, which can be overwhelming when as many as five kittens are born.

People for Animals is an organization dedicated to the affordable care of dogs and cats. The Robbinsville office staff have been so supportive as we have feral and stray cats arrive "out of nowhere" at our farm or "dropped off" at the school across the street. We take care of these cats with shelter in our barn and with food and water for their entire lives. Now and then there is one with a tipped ear but mostly not.

Some mothers have been pregnant and when the kittens are of age then the staff is very helpful as we use our Havaheart trips to bring them in for neutering or spaying. We may have an appointment for 2 kittens or cats and then only one is trapped. Staff understands when that happens. The surgery and care is exceptional and we bring the cats home to a good life. Over time some of the strays become very friendly and even a feral male is happy to be with us now and greets us too in the morning.

People for Animals does miracles with each donor dollar, providing affordable veterinary care, and reaching out to communities in need with help for their much loved pets. Their staff and volunteers are dedicated to helping pets and their people, providing essential veterinary and related services, with hard work, imagination, attention to high standards and genuine "care". High quality, high volume, low cost Spay Neuter is a critically important specialty that, in my opinion, sets them apart. NJ's animals and people are very fortunate to have PFA.

I rescued a stray cat and needed it to be examined. Many of the local vets refused to see the cat saying it might be feral. People for Animals took great care of the kitty, making sure it was healthy, had all of its shots and was neutered.

My friends and family have also used the facility in Hillside for spaying and neutering not only because of the great care, but also because it offers services at much more affordable costs.

I have been taking my animals to PFA for several years. I love the way they have adjusted to COVID by having the online queue and letting people bring their animals in one by one and allowing you to wait in your car. i'm hoping they continue with that method.

I use PFA-Hillside, NJ as my #1 it’s such comfort to get quality basic healthcare for my pets, all the cats I rescue and TNR(trap neuter return). They are feral friendly and my saving grace being able to hold cats there keeps me out trapping!!! Hopefully telling my story doesn’t make it harder to get an appointment.

Our Experience from 2012 to 2017 taking in strays and semi feral off the street for sterilization to the Hillside and Robbinsville clinics adds up to 9 cats. all but one in Hillside was stressful due to short staffing. We’re now in a better financial situation than 4 years ago so we no longer use their services but we want to absolutely recommend PFA. The staff seem to deeply care abt their roles in helping animals and our cats healed well post-op (which isn’t always the case w low cost sterilization clinics). Thx so much to PFA for their work and care. Much love from Mooky and Lolita, Oslo, Milu, and Kosmo :D

PFA has been a leader in low cost spay neuter for years. Their dedication to stop overpopulation is an example of how one organization can make such a big difference. As a rescue / TNR person for (literally) decades, I can state first hand that PFA has halted thousands of feral kittens from being born and suffering on the streets. I cannot heap enough praise on the staff there or their tireless actions for animals.

We would be lost without People for Animals. I am one of many volunteer trappers in the area, doing our best to gather up ALL the community cats to get them healthy and neutered! PFA is essential to this process, because it's only possible because of low cost services: $55 per feral for neuter and vaccinations. They also make pet ownership much more feasible for so many people by offering VERY reasonable basic vet services, which helps people keep their pets and reduces the number abandoned to the streets. That's huge! Additionally they are real partners in that they go beyond neutering to advising on overall condition of each cat, even the feral ones, so that we can take more steps to get them in better shape to live out their lives. I appreciate their expertise and their humanity, especially with all the stress of so many animals coming in each day. Very compassionate and civilized people to deal with.

For about 20 years my wife and I have used PFA for neuter/spay for the feral cats we have TNRed.
If it was not for the work done by the great doctors and fine office staff we couldn't have continued our work on behalf of the many feral colonies we deal with on a regular basis. The work done at PFA is a vital service in the humane treatment of felines.

I've had my dogs spayed/neutered by PFA, and the one thing that is abundantly clear when you walk in is how much everyone there LOVES animals. Not only that, they are truly an affordable location for spays/neuters and vaccinations. My regular vet wanted to charge me almost $1000 to get 2 vaccines for each of my 3 dogs; at PFA, my 3 dogs were able to be fully vaccinated (I think 3 vaccines each) AND each get a 3 month supply of flea/tick meds for under $400. An amazing, affordable place for pet lovers who want to do right by their pets and be responsible pet owners!

People for Animals is a Not For Profit that has been dedicated over a great length of time (over 30 years) to the cause of making veterinary care affordable. For so many years, that focus was the very important issue of affordable spay and neuter surgery. They have expanded there services, their locations, and used mobile surgical units to increase their value and accessibility through central and northern Jew Jersey. Their assistance to many communities doing trap/neuter/release (TNR) work has been outstanding. Just great devotion to the animal cause of affordable assistance for dogs and cats. I know of so many people who have used their services and have been helped by PFA.

I volunteer with a TNR organization and have also been rescueing independently for nearly a decade.
Without PFA's low cost spay/neuter for community cats, doing TNR on any scale would be impossible for most due to the high cost.
I'm extremely thankful for PFA's reduced alteration cost and wellness clinics which have enabled me to rescue, foster, and find homes for cats and kittens that I otherwise could not have. They have made it possible for me to say "yes", instead of"no" to cats in need.
If PFA did not exist, myself and those I work with would never have been able to help nearly as many cats as we have. Through their low cost spay/neuter and wellness services I have seen first hand the tremendous difference PFA has made. They have saved the lives of thousands of cats and prevented the suffering of countless more who would have been born only to know constant hunger, disease, and fear.

People for Animals in Robbinsville, spayed my setter on an emergency basis, when no other clinic could see her for months. Suffering from a failed and very expensive pyometra treatment, they squeezed her in on their next business day. I wanted to breed “Sorrel”, so it was an anxiety ridden decision. Dawn reassured me that this was the proper action to take and having successfully gone through the operation and having my now healthy and enthusiastic dog back, I want to recommend People for Animals for their professionalism, excellent service, and HEART.

It took 4 months to get appt for a feral kitten I found. I was told it was $55. I thought it was great as I'm out of work. When I arrived I was told my cat isn't considered feral as he's been in my house for a year. Was then charged $95. The person I spoke to must have been new as every question I asked he had to go back into building to get answers. The worst part is that they didn't put E collar on my cat while he was under anesthesia. I took 2 people to put collar on once I got home and it still came off. I finally had to use duct tape as he fought so much. Ask that they apply collar before leaving facility!
