Mission: People & Animals was founded in Aug 1999, the main goal is helping disabled persons gain independence through the placement of service dogs. Our second goal is to utilize the help of at-risk youths. By doing this we are helping society in general. These are kids that have been in minor trouble in the schools & with the law. Our program gives them something to take responsibility of & to care for. The youths in the program learn all aspects of dog care, from whelping a litter of pups through the graduation ceremony.
