Mission: The mission of pennyrile allied community services, inc. Is to reduce and eliminate poverty by providing the opportunity for education, training, work and the opportunity to live with dignity and decency. This philosophy focuses on self-sufficiency for the client and the reduction of dependency where possible.
Programs: Transportation:pacs transportation program's primary purpose is to provide safe, reliable, and affordable transportation options to the residents of the pennyrile region and logan county. Types of transportation include city transit routes, medical commutes, and services for citizens in the region.
liheap:pacs liheap program's purpose is to assist households with the cost of home energy. Assistance is based on family size, disposable income, and individual circumstances. Assistance is provided seasonally from october to march each year.
aging:aging consists of six individual programs that form aging services available for our elderly citizens. Operations of senior citizens centers in nine counties along with home delivered meals, housekeeping services, personal care services, congregate meal services, and medical insurance information assistance for the elderly are just some of the services available for pennyrile region senior citizens.
