Mission: The Pennsylvania Women’s Hall of Achievement mission is to: 1. Recognize Women’s Achievements in all endeavors. 2. Preserve the accomplishments of the women of our state. Whose actions have impacted the state and in many cases the nation. 3. Remember the legacy of those who laid the foundation for women’s achievements today. 4. Honor the women who are creating history today. By preserving and honoring women’s stories- our struggles, triumphs, and achievements -we provide inspirational and motivational role models for women and men today.
Results: In order to perpetuate our efforts and to encourage a permanent collection of the history of women in Pennsylvania we have accomplished the following: 1. Initiated and published three years of the calendar Women’s Voices...Hear Them Speak © 2. conducted 24 Events including Celebration of Women’s History (Her-Story) Month 3. Established the PA Women’s Hall of Achievement Podcast. 4 The Spirit of 19th Amendment Award ©. Recognizing women in the region who have consistently dedicated themselves to expanding the opportunities of women in our region. 5. Raised funds for organizations that benefit women and children. 6. Recognized over 350 women and their achievements through special events highlighting women’s history month and the passage of the 19th Amendment.
