We already have to older cats, add that to 3 kids, I had absolutely no intentions of adopting more. My daughter & I visit peggy adams for entertainment, we like that we can interact with the cats (I hope they never stop that). They were closed for cleaning & long story short my daughter fell in love with a black & white kitten named Flax, but i secretly hoped she liked his brother Hemp but she would not budge. I had no $, i did the forms, drove home & back & as it turned out it was BOGO, so I got Hemp as well ..It was meant to be because it did not have the extra $20 for the rabies shot so even with the BOGO i couldn't get him but it turned out he was underweight & had not had his rabies shot yet so no $20 fee..Flax & Hemp, then Oreo & Thunder, now Joker & Dutch are amazing, they are indoors & outdoors living their best lives..catching anything that moves & climbing anything vertical. The staff was fantastic, i love the "Godfather" at the front door...he is awesome
We have adopted 2 cats from Peggy a Adams and we were very pleased with the process! Everyone was helpful, both before and after the adoption?
OMGosh I absolutely adored working with Peggy Adams to adopt my new fur baby Callum.
I saw Callum (aka Morgan) on their website and knew immediately that I wanted to meet him. I called my fiancé and said I was heading over directly after work, and he agreed to meet me. Unfortunately Callum has a behavior issue that made it so that we were unable to meet him without a member of the behavioral team, but we took photos of him and sat outside his pen until closing time, promising to come back Saturday when operating hours matched our schedule....which was 3 days away.
Next day.....I couldn't focus at work...I already knew I wanted his name to be Callum because Morgan didn't fit him. I texted my children and said get ready, I'm leaving work early and I'm coming to get you so we can go get our boy!
Carter, the behavior trainer was immensely helpful and instrumental for us to understand Callum's quirk. You see.....Callum like to eat shoes......while they're still being worn LOL Funny but not funny when a 60pd bulldog/pitbull mix is trying to eat your feet LOL. Had I experienced this quirk without Carter having explaining it in detail, I believe I would have been afraid of him, but he only does this when he's super excited and happy!! And who can't work with a happy dog???
We've had Callum for almost a week now and he's already a staple in our home. He loves shopping for toys, he's a perfect gentlemen when meeting new friends on our walks, he likes sunning himself, and he snores louder than any grandpa I've ever heard on an internet video :) He's a perfect addition to our home and Peggy Adams and it's staff were warm, helpful, and truly exited to us to welcome our new addition.
Thank you Peggy Adams.
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is an amazing organization. All I have ate good things to say. From the people they employee to the services they provide to animals and our communities - this organization is making a difference!
Peggy Adams will always be near and dear to my heart. They keep getting better each year as an organization and do everything they can to improve the quality of care for their animals and clients.
I adopted a ten-month old cat with a known disability from Peggy Adams. The staff were great throughout the adoption process. I left with her complete medical record, a to do list, and a free 30-day trial of health insurance.
For the record, I also volunteer at Peggy Adams. I have deep respect for the staff and volunteers who do a terrific job helping homeless cats and dogs.
Let me begin by stating that my hubby & I are Foster Failures! We thought that fostering tiny kittens would be fun, especially since we would get to enjoy them as babies, then be able to see them adopted and replaced with new babies. We knew, by day two, that we could not be separated from these adorable kitties. After a month, they each weighed 2 lbs and could be spayed and neutered. We missed them terribly, the night they spent recuperating at Peggy Adams. We picked them up and signed the adoption papers!
We want to thank Peggy Adams for doing such awesome work. Three years ago, we adopted our Rat terrier (see the little devil's photo) from Peggy Adams. Since our (2-legged) son's have not given us grandchildren, we are so grateful to Peggy Adams for providing us with these adorable babies; our experiences have been awesome! The animals are treated royally...For the most part, it's a story of rags to riches, for both the recused animals and the people who adopt them...Peggy Adams Rescue League, puts every donated penny to good use, however, the loving care given to the animals, is priceless!
We were informed extremely well about Depp and all that came with him. They were so educated about all the dogs and in particular how to deal with some of the obstacles that our dog would have to overcome. Overall, the best place to adopt any animal. Can’t thank you guys enough for giving us our lifelong buddy.
I adopted my 4 month old maltipoo puppy that I named Piper from Peggy Adams. She is the sunshine of my day. She is the most loving, friendly dog I have ever rescued. I am thankful for Peggy Adams for introducing to me my best fur-friend.
My first introduction with Peggy Adams was end of life services for a very senior dog. I was so impressed with how compassionate everyone I dealt with was. They really all understood how difficult the process was for me. Shortly after that, I decided I wanted to be involved with an organization like this given my love for animals. So I became a volunteer. Volunteering is so gratifying, being able to be part of this great organization and helping the animals. I have also adopted several pets over the years. So I was a “client served” turned “volunteer”! So proud to be a small part of the organization.

I've been at the shelter many times and have always been impressed with the cleanliness of the kennels and the professionalism of the staff.
I always go to Peggy Adams to purchase pet supplies and toys. They have the best prices and the money spent goes back to the facility to help save more animals lives.
The volunteers and staff are always super friendly too. I hope to adopt soon
We wanted to adopt a small dog and knew they often get adopted quickly. On Friday we walked through the dog room looking for our dog. Ralph decided Lilly looked like she’d fit our needs and we’d fit hers. Like us she’s a senior, has a few medical issues, is friendly and quietly reserved. On Saturday we got the call from the vet and we’re told we could pick her up on Sunday. We anxiously waited till we could pick her up and take her home.
She seemed right at home and has fit in well. She has no bad behaviors, just lots of tail wagging love. We’ve both fallen for her cuteness and personality. We can’t thank you enough!
My boyfriend & I adopted our dog Bailey a little over a month ago. We had a great experience with Peggy Adams. The staff was knowledgeable and professional, and the adoptions team worked to make sure the dog we took home would be a good fit for us.
This was my first time adopting a dog from a rescue and it won’t be my last. Peggy Adams made this the best experience. Being a vegetarian and animal activist, I noticed right away that they truly love and respect animals the way that I do.
Peanut Vincent Van Gogh aka Skippy is a God sent fur angel that came into our lives at a time of despair after losing two fur babies in a ten month time period.
He brings so much joy into our lives. Thank You !! Peggy Adams for being there for him at a time of need in his life and bringing him into our life.
We adopted Teddy AKA Tommy on March 14th 2019.
David D. was our adoption representative. David was very efficient and accommodating, we could not have asked for a better experience. We adopted a precious little 11 lb. cookie monster and he is a very good boy. We highly recommend Peggy Adams Rescue Center, be sure to apply with them when you are ready to adopt.
Jane and Bob Boca Raton Florida.
Wonderful experience finding my feline fur baby. Staff was very helpful in guiding me through the process of finding the perfect kitty for me. They were also sure to make sure my home would be good for the cat I adopted. The staff truly loves the animals. The place is immaculate and the animals seem very well attended to. If I lived closer, I’d look to be a volunteer there.
I have worked for 5 years as a volunteer for Peggy Adams. I’m Canadian and spend my winters in South Florida, so I only volunteer 6 months each year. I have fostered kittens, worked in their temporary retails stores, delivered cats and kittens to stores that they partner with to get more animals adopted out and I’m a client service assistant at the main campus. Why? Because they have the most dedicated staff who are “All about the animals”. Oh, and because I get to deal with animal lovers (staff and clients) who, by definition are nicer people.
Back in 1985 I had rescued a feral cat taking to Peggy Adams to have her spayed and get her shots. I have seen how Peggy Adams has gone from it’s small dome to top tier services and facilities for all animals in need. I also have benefited from their TNVR program in 2016 having 4 feral cats that were trapped and released feeding and caring for them.
I adopted a beautiful cat yesterday and it was such an easy process! Great place and very clean! Very friendly enviornment. Thanks so much! JL
I have been so impressed with how well run and organized Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is. The astonishing numbers of animals saved and the quantity of programs offered for potential adopters/adopters and even the community is impressive and wide reaching. It is easy to see the positive impact this organization has had within the community and sets the standard for animal rescue shelters nation wide.
Our adoption experience was second to none, beginning to end! We were welcomed and made to feel comfortable interacting with cats and kittens. The cat habitat is absolutely beautiful and all the enclosures were clean. You could tell they were all taken care of with love! My son knew Dobby aka "Gene" was his cat as soon as he reached his paw through to touch him! We met Holly and she allowed us to interact with him in a private room, where he immediately curled up on my son's lap and that was it-the bond was formed! Holly was extremely kind, but more importantly, honest. At the present time, Dobby had some past medical issues and he would have to be cleared by the vet, and that could take a few days. We were also informed, that if he had a permanent condition, we would have the option to take on the medical responsibility or deny the adoption. Other than the human/animal connection, this was the most important phase of the adoption: honesty. We wanted to move forward and waited for the results, which came a few days later and we were finally able to take Dobby home! The final process was educational, seamless, and joyful! Holly was truly amazing throughout the process. It made my son so proud that she commented on what a kind and well-behaved child he was. You can tell Holly loves her job caring for and rescuing animals, and finding them loving homes. We are so appreciative of her and Peggy Adams for our new family member and for the work they do saving animals!
I recently used the end of life cremation services at Peggy Adams. The people there are so caring and understanding. My little guy Rio was put to rest at my vet that morning. I went straight to Peggy Adams for cremation. I was led to a quiet, private room. The young gentleman who took care of the paperwork was very gentle and soft spoken. I just picked up the urn with my little guy's remains. There was a nice card and a red rose in the box. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend Peggy Adams for their end of life services.
Mom and I adopted a wonderful little chihuahua named Rio in March of 2017. Mom had just lost her 16 year old chi companion. The staff at Peggy Adams were very understanding and compassionate. Our adoption coordinator showed us a few pictures of the dogs in their care. Each dog has a detailed description of their personality and medical history. We chose the little guy that looked like he needed us the most. He was so small, just 5 pounds and depressed. He just melted into Mom's arms, we knew he was the one. The adoption process went very smoothly. We were happy to purchase supplies from the Boutique as this little gut needed all new stuff of his very own. He just loves squeaky toys! We will continue to use the Peggy Adams vaccine clinic for his vaccines. The staff there really care about the animals.
This is our second adoption of a dog, We also have adopted a kitten from them. We love Peggy Adams so much, their compassion for saving lives and ability to match you with the perfect furbaby is very much appreciated.
We adopt Shemi our beautiful Catahula, in January 2013. She is a wonderful addition to our family, very loving, playful and patient with our 5 yr old son. Shemi spent about 6 months at Peggy Adams, as they nursed her back to health. Peggy Adams is a wonderful facility, very clean, the adoptees are all well taken care of, clean, loved on, walked. I would highly recommend Peggy Adams when deciding to adopt a pet.
I adopted the sweetest dog from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue. The process was reflective of a well organized institution, thorough but not overwhelming. I was greeted immediately at the door and walked through the entire process by either a staff member or volunteer. Choosing a new family member is both exciting and nerve wracking, but with the help of Peggy Adams I found the perfect little girl for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to adopt a new friend.
Peggy adams was truly amazing!!! I have a 4yr old so getting w new pet was a little scary!!! Holly answered all of my questions and helped us find our sweet quinn, her and my daughter love each other so much already!!! I highly recommend usuing oeggy adams when adding any new family memeber to your home
We adopted Peanut last week and things are going swimmingly. The staff worked with us to help us find just what we wanted & we couldn't be happier.
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is the home of a caring, passionate, and outstanding group of hardworking people that put every ounce of their heart into loving and nurturing animals! They really do put animals first! Great job! Great shelter!
Last week Stuffin joined our family and we couldn't be more ecstatic! Our visit to Peggy Adams cat room amazed us. It was so nice to see cats able to roam about freely, nap in creative spots, play with humans and felines alike or rest quietly in their comfort zones. After visiting with so many cuties, we chose Stuffin because of his disposition and description - which stated he was familiar with dogs. Having 3 dogs ourselves, we felt Stuffin was the purrfect match and it couldn't be more true! Stuffin has made an easy transition and we just can't get enough of him! He is so loving, playful and doesn't mind his new brother and sisters. Thank you Peggy Adams and its volunteers for caring so much about animals.
We adopted two sister kittens for my daughters from Peggy Adams Rescue in 1994. The girls had stepped in very willingly to become extra moms to the baby I delivered two months after surviving a massive stroke. The girls put their newly acquired mothering skills into practice, raising the kittens through their demise, one in December at the age of 19 and the other in January at the age of 20. My son chose a puppy he named Cookie the following year. That dog lived to the ripe old age of 17.
In 2010, he decided to adopt another dog. Athena was the six month old who was destined to be ours. Having been previously adopted then returned due to her high activity level, she was perfect for us. Two years later, we adopted a kitten from a family and then two years after that, a third puppy joined our home.
Recently I have felt depressed thinking that I could be doing more now that I was retired. My husband and I discussed the possibility of adopting one last animal, perhaps a kitten, to complete our family. I completed the adoption application and found out the four month old kitten that we had decided upon was promised to another couple. Knowing that I was still supposed to adopt another kitten, I found Loren at Peggy Adams! My counselor, Holly, was very helpful and after going over my application, asked who I was interested in seeing. Loren turned out to be the kitten for me. We have since changed her name to Dasher, a Christmas name and part of her personality. Seeing her establish herself among the three other pets we have has made this wee kitten seem more like a giant!
Thank you, Peggy Adams Rescue, for the wonderful and rewarding work you do.
Peggy Adams has found us three beautiful cats to be part of our home. The rescue is spotless, the staff and volunteers are terrific and the kittens and cats are well taken care of all the time. We would recommend this rescue to anyone looking for a kitty to love like ours.
Our dog, Benji, a wonderful Shepherd Mix, died suddenly in his sleep two months before his twelfth birthday. So with a heavy heart, we decided to find a rescue who we could love and care for. We decided to try Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and after a brief wait, we met with an adoption counselor who introduced us to a Bassett Hound mix, Lola, and we brought her home. She seemed very frightened at first. It's now been 3-weeks and, after an uneasy adjustment, Lola appears to be settling in and is realizing that she can trust us. We are grateful for the support of the staff and it's great knowing I can call for advice on behavior if we need it.
Went into pet store for random supplies...came out with an adorable cuddly kitten. Already spayed and healthy and very well adjusted considering her back story. Took her to the vet and she got her rabies shot with no issue and she tested negative for those awful feline diseases. All in all a great experience and
I know my $150 donation will go to great use.
The people at PeggyAdams rescue were terrific. I don’t know how they do it. I’d want to take all the animals home with me. The place was very clean and the animals were well cared for. They conduct a good check of potential adoptive parents and provided the health records for each animal. We took home an amazing little cat that has fit in great in our home and become BFF’s with our existing cat. Thank you so much for what you do.
My sister recently had to euthanize her beloved Molly, and this organization could not have been more understanding and respectful. My sister and Molly were not in a cold, sterilized examination room, but a room much like a cozy living room. Everything was done at my sister’s pace, with no rush, and everyone she came into contact with treated them both with dignity—right through to Molly’s end. As any pet lover knows, when that time comes, it is so difficult.
She was able to adopt a “senior for seniors” afterward in honor of Molly. All those in the adoption department were respectful of her loss and gentle when helping her make a decision. The people I spoke with on the phone in both departments were so helpful. Peggy Adams is a “class act”, and as an animal lover, I appreciate their efforts.
After the loss of our 12yr old, rescued RatChi in early May, we realized how much we missed having a dog in our home. Our two senior cats, brought up with our dogs, appeared to be as sad as we were following this loss. We went to Peggy Adams rescue to look for that " just right" addition to our family.
We were very impressed with the knowledge, compassion and professionalism of our Adoption Counselor, Julie. After much discussion of our family and the personality of a dog that would fit into our home and enjoy living with two cats, we were introduced to two sweet, small mix breed dogs. Both were described as "Wallflowers", very quiet and easily frightened. Our Winni was the second of the "meet and greet" pups. Her quick lick on my face before leaving the office sealed the deal. We have been happy everyday since. She is no longer a Wallflower and is much more a Busybee and a bit of a Goof. She keeps us laughing and she is adjusting so quickly to life with my husband and I and the cats.
We have had dogs and cats throughout our many years of marriage and all have been rescues. We consider our choice to adopt from Peggy Adams the wisest decision and the easiest, most effective process we have ever experienced. The staff and volunteers at Peggy Adams are clearing animal lovers and devoted to getting their charges to not just a home but to the best furever home.
Winni popped a suture on her spay incision and I called the clinic and got up there early to have her checked out. The Vets and staff were wonderful. With antibiotics and some activity restriction, Winni was completely healed in a few days. We have since had her checked by our Vet and he was quite impressed with her and found her healthy and charming.
Just to add that their Shop is fantastic; they have a lovely assortment of items at great prices. We have returned to say hello to Julie and to purchase Winni's heartworm medication and food supplies. Although we thought Winni might not find a visit back there easy, she recognized several staff/volunteers and appeared as happy to see them and they appeared to see her. Thank you to all at Peggy Adams for helping us find Winni.
Wow! So impressed by the adoption process at Peggy Adams! Their website is great, and we found Zeus there before we met him in person---- but once we got there, we met so many amazing dogs that when we finally met our adoption specialist, Holly, we had quite a list! She helped us narrow down our search to a dog that was suitable to our family and our home.....and it was meant to be! Zeus has a forever home, and has been a blessing to us! Thank you Peggy Adams!!!
Everyone at Peggy Adam was professional on very nice. There knowlegde of all the pets was amazing. These people love there jobs and it show. Adopting a dog was exciting and educating all in one. What a great experience.
Yesterday we adopted our second dog from Peggy Adams. We adopted a dog about 9 years ago from Peggy Adams and he was wonderful. He passed away last year. Yesterday I went back and adopted a female who seems to be just what I needed. What I liked most is the thorough history they go over with you so I knew a lot about Bella before I decided to adopt her and give her a forever home. Since I wanted to adopt an adult dog I think the history is very important. I was able to have a “meet and greet” with our present male dog. Everything went easily and I loved working with Margi because she was thorough and didn’t rush me through. Thank you to you all!!
Very willing and helpful staff! I adopted my best friend Tiger from this organization. Even tho my puppy was adopted and returned 3 times, the amazing team never gave up on him until he found his forever home. They neautered him, treated him for heartworm, sicknesses, and an ear infection and kept him utd on all his vaccines. I fell in love with his sweet personality and am so thankfully Peggy Adams gives innocent animals like Tiger the chances they deserve. I donated every dollar I could to their organization for him. If you’re looking for a best friend, Peggy Adams is the place to go. A big thank you to all the counselors and behavior specialists that helped me find the dog of my dreams!
After losing 2 family pets in 3 years we decided to close our hearts back in 2010. On Dec 31,2017 we adopted Cici or shall I say she rescued us! She has been a Joy, and has been the most affectionate gentle animal we could have ever asked for! We believe she was meant for us and are so blessed to have been chosen by her to be her furrever parents
Staff was great, accomodating. Saw a cat we wanted to bring home! While waiting, he was already adopted out. I "James" was spending some time in a different room ran into KeKe, brought Michelle to see her! Turned out for the better, we have no girls! KeKe came home and settled in pretty fast with the others! She a great addition, with her joyfull/pushy personality! One 14 year old male pitbull (Damien), two male black cats. Bobtail-(Tike) Shy-(Pepper), and now crazy/fun-(KeKe)... Tyke came from Peggy Adam as well, and was our Daughters cat, who had recently passed away. So we took Tyke in, and now we have 3 cats and one Dog... These animals/New family members, have really helped us get through some bad times, giving us unconditional love and helping us laugh a lot! They all get along really well!!! Thank you guys at Peggy Adam, You guys are the best!
This is our new baby Brady who we adopted from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue. Brady was at our local Pet Supermarket and melted my heart. The adoption process was smooth and the wonderful staff at Peggy Adams followed up with us post adoption to check in on Brady’s transition to his forever home. Thank you Peggy Adams Animal Rescue!
The adoption was a breeze and the fact that she's microchipped really puts my mind at ease, knowing that if she got out, she can easily be returned to us. Peggy Adams, we loved doing business with you and we're SO happy to see pet stores carrying your animals. We couldn't be more happy! Beans is our newest member and we love her and so do our dogs! She plays with them and takes no nonsense from them. LOL She's the best!
It was an ordinary afternoon. Ordinary, at least for a little while. Somehow, through the great art of conversation, my husband and I decided to go see some cats who were up for adoption. This brought us to Peggy Adams. We parked the car. Then we got out. The air smelled nice. There's a certain aroma that a place that does a great thing has. We walked in. It was big. Lot's of people worked there. Someone greeted us. She led us to the cats. Really, going there, I did not know what to expect. I was very surprised. All the cats were in rooms. These had glass doors. I thought it was clean and pleasant. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They answered questions on behavior, health, and adjustment issues. My cat, Athena, has become family. Furthermore, let me say this: I have a good friend who helps stray cats. Peggy Adams has spayed or neutered a number of his pets, under a grant program. Peggy Adams is clean. It is just a great place. Peggy Adams is doing a wonderful thing.
Thank you Dan for our new addition to our family. My son received her on Christmas and immediately named her Cookie because she looks like an Oreo. She is very lovable and playful. She is a perfect match for me and my family. You were so helpful and patient. Thank you again for this precious gift!!
We adopted Jinx from Peggy Adams and we couldn't be happier. He is a sweet and loving kitten and is having a ball getting to know his new brother, our cat, Muffin, and sister, our dog, Cali. Peggy Adams made the adoption process simple and choosing a cat was fun, as they had several rooms with cats and kittens to sit with until we decided on Jinx. We look forward to many years of fun with our little circus!
We fostered and adopted from Peggy Adams. The foster & adoption program at Peggy Adams are both top notch.
What an AMAZING experience!!!! Everyone at Peggy Adams went ABOVE and beyond to help me get the perfect puppy! I can’t thank them enough!
I adopted my dog from here. He is the best dog. Perfectly healthy, extremely well behaved and the staff at Peggy could not have been more helpful throughout the adoption process.
Maddi is just the sweetest dog! Her personality has blossomed since the day I saw her at your shelter. While she may not look happy in her rain coat she enjoys her walks. Even in her Halloween costume she still managed to look adorable :)
I adopted 2 cats from them about six years ago. They have never had any health problems and I love them to death! Peggy Adams never euthanizes and adopting from there helps there mission!
Adopted our dog Lily from Peggy Adams great organization and caring staff they definitely take time to match the animal to the right family our family is extremely thankful.
My two cats came from Peggy Adams. I adopted them as kittens and they were very well socialized. The foster program does a wonderful job getting these little ones off to a great start! The adoption process was easy and positive as well. Thank you Peggy Adams for bringing these two joys into my life!
Our family's recent adoption of June the kitten from Peggy Adams was an incredible experience. We were so impressed by the facilities and the care the staff was providing to these animals in need. The adoption process was very easy but also thorough, demonstrating that the staff is committed to placing animals with good homes. June's medical treatment at Peggy Adams was fabulous, and it was clear this kitten who had spent her first 6 months at the shelter had been loved and petted and cuddled as she is a playful social member of our family! Thank you, Peggy Adams staff. You are doing such important work and doing it with heart and passion!
I am a on limited income, I found a piece of my heart At Peggy Adams Rescue. A name your own price adoption makes it easy to find your new love. They have many options available. My heart was Adopted Thursday 12/7/2017 I am not from the Palm Beach area, I live about 4 hours north in Putnam county. Ozzy was well worth the trip and he has settled in quickly and loves running laps in the yard. He has plenty of tail wags and kisses to show me how happy he is.
Almost 4 years ago I adopted Chrissy, she was nine years old at the time. She is my best buddy. Still loves to play and car rides. She is such a happy little girl. Thank you Peggy Adams for saving this senior sweetie. Peggy Adams' facility is spotless, I also donate to Peggy's Pantry which provides food for pet owners who due to their economic situation may be able to afford pet food for their pets, this helps them from having to surrender their beloved pets. All staff I have dealt with is very compassionate in their goal to find these loving animals homes. Thank you for all you do.
Was looking for a senior dog rescue and saw Chrissy online, a 9 year old Shih Tzu/poodle mix blind in one eye. All the staff from the response I received to my e-mail to everyone at Peggy Adams was very patient, helpful, professional and truly involved in the animals best interest. They took us to a small room then brought Chrissy to meet us. She is a 12 pound bundle of love that has made our life so much better! The facility is spotless, truly a wonderful place to adopt a pet. Many thanks to everyone who helped us.
To Kristin, Colleen and Gabriel in Receiving. The three of you made a very difficult situation bearable. Your kindness, understanding and compassion was so appreciated. I was at a loss and you went above and beyond. When my brother passed away leaving four very loved kitties you said you would help, and you did. As hard as it was to leave Runt, Mr. Mitts, Guenivere and Turtle you were so kind and helped me to realize I was leaving them in good and caring hands. I can't say enough about these good people. Thank you, you are amazing.
I was referred to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue when my pet died a couple of weeks ago.
The entire staff was so accommodating and sincere. I was truly moved when I received a condolence card in the mail, nice touch.
so when it came to adopting a new pet, it was without any doubt as to where I was going, Peggy Adams.
The entire staff could not have been more accommodating, friendly and caring that I made the right choice, and I did.
Thank you all for assisting me in making my home complete again.
All the best.
We had lost our baby girl 21/2 years ago. Though I would never get another, and if we did it would be a rescue. Went to Peggy adams and found who they named fawn and we call Mimi. She was so scared, vicious, and needed hygiene. But the shelter was amazing, they took time with her, made her feel at ease. She's a beautiful girl and all she needed was love. This is her know just after 4 days. I love this shelter for their love and dedication to all animals. If your looking for a pet please visit Peggy first.
Peggy Adams is absolutely the most compassionate non-profit limited admission shelter I have ever visited. It accepts from Palm Beach Animal Care and Control not only readily adoptable dogs but also sick, injured, senior and hard to place cases. In addition, Peggy Adams housed Humane Society International's Puerto Rican dogs throughout their quarantine period. Thank you, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League!
She saved my life.
At the beginning of December my kitty "Fanci" and I lost our beloved son and brother. Papito, my 14 year old shepherd mix. We both went into depression and she and I would cry every day. 2 weeks after our loss, I went to the Peggy Adams Rescue League. I met Sky and she found us the most wonderful pup, Rosie "Elsa". I was not looking for a young pup but could not risk the health, happiness, and safety of my kitty. She was our blessing.
I am happy to say that we are truly blessed and will come back to visit whenever possible.
I adopted four month old Teddy my orange tabby. He made friends with my four dogs the night he came home. He is a pretty incredible kitten. I have always known Peggy Adams is special since I took my kids there to have their pet rat , iguana, and parakeet blessed , I think it was on all Saints Day 25 years ago. I knew when I was ready to adopt a cat again, I would come here. He is just so special. Georgina
A huge thank you to Jan at Peggy Adams! We had been trying to adopt a miniature schnauzer mix for some time and she helped us find the sweetest puppy! We do not live near the shelter so Jan and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate our needs in picking up our puppy. We were so pleased how well our dog was cared for while in the care of Peggy Adams, and they were incredibly helpful in getting us the information needed of how to care for her (we're first time dog owners). This is a fantastic place to adopt a pet!
