PRRF has worked tirelessly to find a cure for children with vision loss. This work is especially important as rare diseases so often get overlooked in research initiatives. The org is on the cusp of the first therapy for FEVR patients and rapidly growing community program. Truly a passionate group of leaders in the pediatric vision loss community.

Causes: Disabilities, Eye Diseases, Blindness & Vision Impairments Research, Health
Mission: The mission of the Pediatric Retinal Research Foundation (PRRF) is to support the community of families impacted by blinding pediatric retinal diseases and champion the quest for a cure.
Programs: Research ophthalmic research studies including but not limited to eye research to preserve vision and restore sight. We perform and fund clinically relevant research for pediatric retinal issues to understand and treat a range of retinal diseases. We have funded or conducted more than 12 different research studies during 2014. PRRF provides parents and educators of visually impaired children with practical information, support, and suggestions for appropriate toys and educational aids.
