Causes: Children & Youth, Girls Clubs
Mission: The organizations mission is to help young girls become responsible and contributing members of society by providing career guidance and teaching them academic skills such as communication, presentation, problem solving as well as practical life skills such as knitting and cooking. Promoting a strong moral character that enchances the girl's awareness of their neighborhoods and broader communities through participation in community service projects, field trips and volunteering at places such as nursing homes and homeless shelters. Creating a safe atmosphere to engage in philosophical and cultural discussion through weekly classes that promote strong moral beliefs and mold the intelligent progressive minds of tomorrows mothers, educators and professionals.
Programs: The organization had 3 programs with 30 to 40 children in each program throughout the year to instruct the girls in being well rouned in their community. This includes guidance in their professional lives as well as serving the community as a whole. The organization also offers tutoring for it members.
