Mission: Inform the public regarding world peace based on a commitment to abolishing nuclear weapons and to finding alternatives to war and military conflict as a means of resolving disputes and to promote security through international cooperation and the promotion of human rights and to articulate a broader concept for global security.
Results: PAFNYS launched the Campus Organizing Program in 2011 and continues to provide educational and mentorship opportunities for student organizers at campuses across New York State. After graduating, PAFNYS Campus Organizers have gone on to work with peace and justice organizations such as Beyond the Bomb, WomenCrossDMZ, national Peace Action, Institute for Economics and Peace, and Brooklyn for Peace.

Programs: The PAFNYS Campus Organizing Program provides educational and mentorship opportunities for student activists at campuses across New York State.
Peace Action is a mature grassroots organization. It continues adapting to the complexities of the Peace process- The youth affiliations at the schools and universities is both active and growing. The Peace Action Clubs on campus are felt to be the seed bed for the activists of the future.
The outreach and program development is accomplished by committed volunteers and a small paid staff.
Peace Action New York State takes an active local and international role through its' NGO status at the United Nations.
