Mission: To give all students every opportunity to graduate high school, go to college, and to start a bright future.
Programs: The academic performance excellence academy is a place where careful programming and one-on-one conferences give students the flexibility they need to realize their dreams. Apex academy has succeeded with scores of students of poverty and with student populations considered highest at- risk. Our model includes the following components: 400-500 students, grade span of 7-12, a competency-based model of instruction and promotion (diploma plus), the lowest counselor-to-student ratio in the los angeles unified school district (1:150), an all a-g curriculum plan for graduation for all students, and our uncompromising philosophy to serve any student, any time, anywhere.
