Causes: Crime & Law, Half-Way Houses for Offenders & Ex-Offenders, Homeless & Housing, Homeless Shelters, Mental Health, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Our mission is to help heal the devastating effects of addiction by providing structured residential and assistance programs that reduce & prevent homelessness, unemployment, poverty & crime caused by substance abuse.
Results: 41% of individuals who we provided assistance to move into a sober living home are successful and remained clean & sober at annual follow up in 2015. Over 60% of the individuals served by our sober living dorms have graduated successfully from our one year program.
Target demographics: Those in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction maintain a foundation of recovery
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 200 hundred individuals in San Antonio last year.
Geographic areas served: PIF provides structured residential and assistance programs that reduce & prevent homelessness, unemployment, poverty & crime caused by substance abuse.
