Mission: To provide shelter, food, medical attention, surgical sterilization, vaccinations and microchips to homeless and abandoned animals after which they are adopted into loving homes. And, to provide education to adopters, children and adults, on how to humanely care for their pets.
Programs: Rescued and provided foster homes for 5 dogs, 3 puppies, 29 cats, 2 kittens. 37 pets were adopted into new homes. Educated all adopters and many potential adopters, including many children on the importance of spay/neuter/vaccinations/microchip, and the proper care of companion animals. Assisted 3 individuals in placing their personal pets into loving homes because they could no longer financially care for them. Assisted 5 individuals with spaying/neutering/vaccinating their personal dogs and cats so they could no longer breed. Assisted several veterinarians in placing animals that were abandoned at their hospitals. Provided traps and assisted in trap neuter release of numerous feral cats in surrounding areas while setting up care for those colonies.
