Mission: Over the past eight years, Pathways to Housing DC has helped hundreds of individuals in Washington, D.C. break the cycle of homelessness by offering resources, skills, and hope. We support self-directed recovery by providing our most vulnerable neighbors with low-barrier access to permanent housing and a broad range of wraparound supportive services including mental and physical health, substance abuse, education and employment, family reunification and community integration.
Results: Since our inception in 2004, Pathways DC has ended homelessness, through Housing First, and supported recovery for more than 500 individuals with serious mental illnesses, co-occurring substance abuse disorders and/or other medical challenges in our Nation’s capitol.
Programs: To provide housing to people who are homeless and have psychiatric disabilities and/or substance abuse problems.
