I had no idea that there are two kinds of hospis facilities.
The first type of hospis is able to accommodate everyone/anyone whom are passing away, no matter what the medical/physical condition may be.
The Pathway Home, unfortunately is NOT that kind of hospis.
Our mother apparently is too much for this facility to handle. They can't accommodate a frail 87 year old woman. She is being sent to a real facility in Rochester, far away from her family to die alone. Such a same. I love you Mom. I am sorry that you were put through this at this most sensitive time.
