Based in Evansville, Indiana, Patchwork Central, Inc. creates community and encourages spiritual and social growth by offering hospitality, by providing opportunities for learning, by fostering creativity and involvement in the arts, and by working toward a more peaceful and just world.
Programs: This year marked the 25th year of children's programming. To celebrate this milestone, we sponsored a neighborhood party with about 50 people in attendance and 20 people volunteering. A special art show, featuring photographs from 25 years of our work with children, was hung during the fall, with a closing reception and artists' talks, bringing to mind the importance of the work done with children.
