Mission: To receive funds and property to invest and reinvest the same and to disburse the same as voluntary, gratuitous, and charitable gifts and contribtuions within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code for the benefit of dependent widows/widowers, dependent children, or the named beneficiary or beneficiaries of any life insurance policy provided by the municipality, county, or state of salaried, volunteer, or special law enforcement officers including state police, fbi, dea, atf, ins, usss, uscs, usao, sheriff's department, prosecutor's office, correction officers, prison guards, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and other public safety personnel who, although not specifically listed, perform duties or functions similiar or related to those set forth in this section, living or serving in passaic county or its municipalities, who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
