Pasadena Meals on Wheels is a reliable source of well prepared and balanced meals for my 98 year old mother in Pasadena. My mother lives alone and manages many things well, but meal preparation had become too much for her. Meals on Wheels allows her to continue her life style as she wishes, a proud and independent woman. The staff is responsible and accessible. The volunteers provide a welcome human contact. There is great variety of food, and it is very well prepared and ready to eat. Pasadena Meals on Wheels is run and staffed by Angels.

Meals on Wheels allows my 97 year old mother to continue to live alone, independently. While generally still mobile and relatively sharp mentally, my mother no longer has the energy or focus needed to shop with me or to plan and to prepare meals. We enlisted the good work of Meals on Wheels around 6 months ago, and now my mother has fully prepared, balanced and delicious meals delivered to her. The contact with the delivery volunteers is also welcome. Meals on Wheels has been a God send, and I do not have words sufficient to express our gratitude for my mother’s continued independence.
Meals on Wheels provides a much needed service to the community. The volunteers are friendly and generous with their time. They take great care of my elderly family member and always ensure they have enough to eat.
Pasadena Meals on Wheels has been a lifesaver for me on many occasions. If you are injured, disabled or simply have difficulty shopping, cooking and/or cleaning up after cooking I highly recommend them.
The cost of the food and the chef are subsidized by donations so it is economical. Not only is it less expensive than a restaurant meal but you would be hard pressed to purchase the ingredients and cook them yourself for the price you pay for a freshly made meal prepared by a professional chef and delivered to you still warm 5 days a week by friendly volunteers.
Having a visitor 5 days a week is a blessing in and of itself for many people.
Patti Feldmeth is very passionate about helping her community. She is kind , compassionate and extremely helpful. She goes above and beyond to ensure that anybody who needs a meal receives a meal, sometimes even delivering the meals herself if a volunteer is unavailable.
I am deeply grateful to this organization and the services they provide to our community!
As a volunteer for the last year with Pasadena Meals on Wheels I get to see first-hand, the direct impact of this incredible organization! Recipients of the service receive a full meal at their front door due to health, disability or age-related challenges. Equally important is the opportunity for someone to check in to see how they are doing, brighten their day with a few words and a show of care for them. So many express their appreciation for the program and the volunteers. This is a very well-run, organized, caring and responsive non-profit organization which makes volunteering for them so personally rewarding, too.
Pasadena Meals on Wheels is a great non profit organization helping lots of community members and seniors. They have great volunteers. Not only they provide nutrient meals to individuals who are not able to cook or are bedbound, they also become friends and family members to them. For some people Pasadena Meals on Wheels is the only social connection they have. I am so grateful for this organization in our community.
