Out of personal pain can come gifts and the development of Partner in Lyme is an example. Many of us know people whose lives have been upended by this devastating, unpredictable and debilitating disease. We are a long ways from having the kinds access to resources and support needed and this why the work of Partner in Lyme is so vital. This organization taps personal stories and knows how to have impact at the individual as well as community levels. The leadership and communications of Partner in Lyme are top notch. Their fundraising is creative and the behind the scenes work is amazing.Ultimately, what impresses me most is their desire to make change happen both for those who have this disease as well as focusing on education and prevention. My family will remain donors as we know our donations are very responsibly and thoughtfully stewarded for impact.

The afflictions of Lyme and directly related diseases, most often unsupported by insurance and ignored by the legacy medical community, are devastating to those afflicted with the disease and their families. The unbearable physical, financial and emotional weight of Lyme is too heavy of a load for many to bear. That's where Partner in Lyme Inc comes in, to share that load.
It's personal. This organization makes it so, and that's what makes its work so effective.
Please consider donating to them. Every dollar goes to someone involved in the fight for their life.

Partner in Lyme steps in when insurance providers decide that Lyme should be cured with a single course of antibiotics! Reality: it’s a lifelong illness with debilitating effects requiring tests and treatments not covered by insurance.

The founder, Jess, has made it her life’s mission to educate herself on Lyme, and to help not only her daughter, but others in Connecticut who suffer from this terrible disease. She is hard working, relentless in the pursuit of new and promising treatments, and selfless. I love her passion and the fact that she goes the extra mile.

Partner in Lyme sends monthly hand written cards and often personally delivers their financial gifts, no matter the distance. This is a non-profit that you can feel good about being a part of knowing that every single cent goes to help others.

I have had the opportunity to serve on the board of PIL for 2 years now. Our family has been friends with Jess and her family for several years. I have watched her daughter struggle with the effects of Lyme for sometime. Jess's passion to educate the public and raise awareness about Lyme through her own family's experience along with her compassion for the families that have been touched by Lyme is inspiring. I encourage anyone wanting to learn more about Lyme Disease to reach out to Partner in Lyme.

We wanted to express our gratitude to Partner in Lyme for being such a great support of not only those struggling from Lyme but those in need in the community. The President of Partner in Lyme never hesitated to say "Yes" when asked to serve. She and her family have volunteered for square up to give food to the less fortunate and cook for the homeless.

One of the guiding principles of Partner in Lyme is community and teamwork. There is no such thing as a “solo” sport. Whether it’s tennis, boxing, wrestling, golf, or even figure skating behind every good competitor is a team. When a boxer gets ready to hop in the ring they have at least 3 people beside them, the head cornerman, the second cornerman, and the cut-man. Although the fighter steps into the ring alone, they are never actually alone and that is the model that reminds me of Partner in Lyme. They knew they couldn't always fight people's battles for them but they definitely could be the ones in their corner.

Partner in Lyme while focusing on lyme still find time to partner with other non-profits. If there is ever a non-profit to support its theirs. They understand and they care! Enjoy some of the pictures we were able to snap of the President and her family always giving back in secret.

Some secrets are worth telling and this was! Thank you Jessica for your beautiful heart and your family!! Continue to change this world!!

Partner in Lyme really understands the true need for a patient with Lyme disease. Having a family member with Lyme is what drove the beginning of this wonderful non-profit. Hosting pod casts, information sessions and just overall support is what makes this such a wonderful nonprofit!

Partner In Lyme is incredible. The founder, Jessica, is truly wonderful. She is so knowledgable about Lyme, she has compassion, and she is on a mission to help the sick struck down with this disease. She not only offers people with Lyme Disease help in treatment, but she also has helped me with tick testing. Partner in Lyme also started an Art Fundraiser last year that benefits the individuals that get help from the foundation. Jessica sends monthly cards to check in with the people her foundation helps. I am so thankful that she came into my life, and that she started and continues to develop this amazing organization.

I was asked to support a PIL fundraiser by a friend of the founder, which I was happy to do at the time. But I continue to be a big fan. Partner in Lyme does a great job of educating the public about the dangers of Lyme disease and awareness of possible long term affects. It is not only an advocate for those afflicted but a solid resource for prevention. PIL fills a necessary void by providing funds for treatment that I was shocked to learn are often not covered by insurance. PIL's communications are top notch - relevant, timely, professional and clear on the work it's doing and the need for financial support. I will continue to support Partner in Lyme as I feel my donations are thoughtfully directed to high impact initiatives.

Partner in Lyme has generously helped several members of my family. It’s not just a financial award but an award in friendship, love and support. The founder Jessica does not stop with her mission of helping Lyme patients. She sends handwritten cards often, and has on several occasions driven far to visit a very sick family member of mine often bringing items that are useful to the Lyme patient. This nonprofit cares so much, the gift goes not stop with the award. So greatful.

Partner in Lyme Inc is more than a non-profit—much more. It's a life style of giving to others daily, weekly, in many forms. Our donations enable them to ease the incredible financial burden that falls on those suffering with Lyme with uncovered and massive expenses.
The support given by Partner in Lyme goes much further than a financial award. Newsletters, blogs, mailings, social media, outreach to other like-minded groups and media interviews to educate, not only those afflicted, but also the public completes the circle of support that this non-profit provides. And rest assured, every dollar you contribute goes towards the support of those who desperately need it, 100%.

I'm a donor who has contributed to this charity since its inception. I continue to support PIL because I believe in their mission. I especially appreciate the monthly action updates, which provide information on their recent activity, educational resources, and often quotes from gift recipients or people who have benefited from their website. These updates allow donors to see just how impactful their contributions are. I was appalled to learn Lyme costs, other than the acute 2 week antibiotic protocol, are not covered by insurance companies. The hardship experienced by many chronic Lyme sufferers is heartbreaking. PIL provides hope and financial assistance to those who need it most. It's humbling to be a small part of that.

Just in the last year alone, I have pulled two ticks off myself and one off my daughter. Thanks to the education, awareness, and resources I gained from Partner in Lyme, I knew exactly how to act quickly. Removing the ticks properly, getting the ticks tested, and then following a treatment plan from a Lyme doctor saved my family from a myriad of possible diseases. I am forever grateful for the work that Partner in Lyme continues to do across the state of CT.
