Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Mission Statement: Our mission is to reach out to the kids of Parke and Vermillion counties who do not attend church, and to those who do. They all deserve to know about God's love for them, Salvation, and how to continue on with their relationship with Jesus. We are here to show kids we care and that someone believes in them. We want them to know they are worth our time. We want to provide activities with a Christian influence and in a Godly environment. We are not a church, and do not want to take anyone out of their own church and its' activities. We have seen a great lack of activities for the kids in many of the small churches. We have also seen a lack of interest in reaching out to kids who do not attend church anywhere. We want to provide activities that all of these kids can attend, and feel comfortable attending. Through these activities We want to teach them basic principles of a biblical lifestyle, and how to study and use the Bible to solve daily problems. We want them to know that it is possible for Christians to have fun too! We want them to have hope for their futures - because there is hope through Jesus
Results: We do not keep tabs on "souls saved" or how many we have helped, or at least we never have to this point. We are more about planting seeds and caring about each individual as they come along. We have always said, "If we can just help one, we'll know it was worth it!"
Target demographics: We're here to help the youth, young adults, and special needs adults of the area.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 20-40 Elementary aged students each week during the school year, and held many small youth group meetings with teens and young adults.
Geographic areas served: Parke and Vermillion County Indiana
Programs: *Kid's Club after school for the K-6th grade crowd * Special Needs groups starting out monthly and then more often as needed/wanted *A monthly music venue * We will be open certain hours throughout the week for the youth to come in, practice instruments through our sound system on our stage, get homework help, or just hang out and play games * Weekly youth group, and much more!
