Causes: Government & Public Administration
Mission: The purpose of the park county leadership institute will foster the development of leadership skills and abilities and provide an understanding of community resources. The objectives are to provide training in leadership concepts and techniques; provide an understanding of park county issues, industry, organizations and agencies; prepare and motivate participants for greater community involvement; and build relationships between people and communities.
Programs: Park county leadership institute collects donations and uses all money collected to provide day-long training sessions which occur on a monthly basis from october to may. The training includes team building, communication, planning, conflict management, managing change, and leadership. Expenses are strictly to run the classes and any excess moniey donated is saved to provide future training courses.
