Mission: Parents for Public Schools is a network of parents working together to build and ensure quality public education for all children in San Francisco. We do this by: · Encouraging enrollment in public schools. · Growing a diverse constituency of parent leaders that reflects the parent population of San Francisco. · Increasing parent engagement at the school and district level. · Building a community of support for public education. · Bringing the voice of parents to school reform.
Programs: Go Public - a program that encourages public school enrollment Building Equity Together - workign with non english speakers adn familes in the bayview to encourage enrollment and parent involvement SF Public schools serve 58,000 students
