Causes: Amateur Sports, Military & Veterans Organizations, Sports, Veterans
Mission: To provide a better lifestyle to disabled veterans and their family across southern California
Target demographics: Paralyzed Veterans and their families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 650 chapter members
Geographic areas served: Southern California
Programs: Reconditioning & therapy: to advocate and foster the most complete and effective reconditioning program for its members and others similarly situated, including a thorough physical reconditioning program, physiotherapy, competent walking instruction, psychological orientation and readjustment, and occupational therapy for veterans with spinal cord injuries.
sports & recreation: sporting activities have great importance in the lives of wheelchair users. PVACC sponsors individual sporting events along with chapter tournaments and helps to finance individual members to participatein all athletic events available to them.
PVACC newsletter "MOMENTUM!": to priovide proper means for publicizing the objectives of the association through the publication of a newsletter.
