Mission: Help impoverished families in the colonias near the border and provide mission experience to americans in the colonia.
Programs: Cafeteria meals: provided 4,000 free meals to children on every school day and provided meals to children with special needs.
shelters: provided financial support to shelters that provided food, shelter, clothing and medical treatment for children and the impoverished people in the colonies.
assistance to families: provided food, building material, clothing, assistance with utilities and home repair to 120 families in the colonias. This help was provided during the course of periodic visits to the homes of the poor.
mission trips: conducted mission trips to the colonias where food, clothing and building materials were distributed to the poor. Participants walk door to door visiting families and also visit schools, hospitals and meet with children with special needs.
schools and education: paid for structural repairs at area schools in the colonias of mexico. Provided clothing, books, computer equipment to area schools,paid for repairs to buildings and paid for teaching materials.
after school program: provide a safe environment and activities for approximately 150 children ages 4 through 8 where the children receivea meal and participate in after-school learning and activities.
medical assistance: make medical care available for treatment of cancer and other serious and life threatening conditions and assist with protheses, hearing aid, glasses, and other medical devices and medicine.
