This rescue is a joke! I have followed for years and seen some pretty shady stuff. First, lets talk about the little bulldog that she was "taking care of." She posts a video. It should be obvious that the puppy is crying in pain; however, she is laughing and saying how sassy the puppy is (or something like that.) The pup died shortly after. I posted a comment that the pup is in pain and she promptly deleted it. Then there's Raisin, her personal dog. The dog had some issues with pooping in the house and tearing stuff up. She would make videos all the time making fun of the situation. All the sudden, Raisin has an issue with biting and Amanda has an issue with it. She stated during the last dog bite before she killed it that the dog bit her face and hands and left her black and blue, never posting pics of herself because she said they were too "graphic." A few days later, she posts a selfie and guess what? No bite marks ANYWHERE on her face! Oops! Messed up on that one didn't you. Now, if you are a rescue, why would you choose to put Raisin to sleep? Since you are such a hot shot know it all, you should know that a behaviorist would have helped. And then there is the female Bulldog that she "rescued." She throws these dogs into bad situations all the time! She just expects all the dogs to get along. The bulldog started to attack on of Amandas other dogs and Amanda's leg got in the way. The dog ended up biting her leg because she was in the cross fire. The dog did not go after her on purpose. OF COURSE Amanda puts her to sleep, but not before posting selfies of her and the dog to round up sympathy and to stroke her ego even more. Amanda preaches "adopt, don't shop" but her and her husband spend thousands of dollars on purchasing a rottweiler. HMMMM, sketchy right?? Oh and not just one dog has been purchased by them. When she was confronted by fans, she stated that "my husband has always wanted that type of dog." There is also the issue of people calling her out on not having hardly any rescues over a certain time span but was still collecting donations. LOTS of people called her out on this. She in turn ended up taking in more dogs. WOOPSIE again! Amanda has also been accused of using donations for personal use. She claims that all her records are transparent, but didn't you get your licensing taken away at one point? yep! Will she offer an explanation with any sort of proof? Nope! Amanda posts a feel sorry for me, I need a fence for the rescue dogs, and boom the fence is paid for by her followers. She has people so bamboozled, I just can't believe it! Of course if you call her out on anything, you are promptly deleted. OH!!! That brings me to another funny, and on this actual page. Amanda seen that there were bad reviews STATING THE TRUTH on here, so what does she do? She asked all of her followers to come to this page and give her a GOOD review so that the bad reviews would be buried!!!! All you have to do is look at the date of reviews on the day she asked everybody to post. It was 9/20!!! Doesn't take rocket science to figure our your game. Play fair much, Amanda? She is such a narcissistic know it all, I just can't believe that people don't see through her crap and deceptions. I could go on forever about the shiesty stuff that happens with her rescue, but I will leave it there and hope that people will start researching the people they hand their money over to.
Admins- I do not think that reviews should be posted that are begged for. She literally asked people to bury the bad reviews.
i have followed all the wonderful journey's Amanda and her family (s) have been on-- there are no words for all the work and love and effort that is put into each and every obligation she takes on from pets to human's and helping others.
She is so amazing with her knowledge, her ability to share her journey's with us in such great writings and videos, and her true, genuine selfless love she gives.
There are not many on this earth that can endure what she does to keep all her charges needs first and foremost-- thank you for all u do for so many
I have fostered for this rescue and have been very impressed with their ethics and personal standards. All decisions are made to benefit the medically needy animals and as a foster I received their full support. I have personally witnessed the amount of effort to save dogs that most rescues would reject. I cannot speak highly enough of Amanda and Panda Paws Rescue
While I have never worked first hand with this non profit, I have followed Amanda and her rescue for three years. First off, I am in complete and total awe of her love, dedication, determination and drive to make a difference in the lives of these animals who otherwise would not get a chance at a loving home that every pet deserve. I've donated money to aid in her efforts and will continue to do do because I truly believe in the work that she is doing. Amanda is doing the work that most of us cannot or will not do. For that, I know for a fact that their is a special place in heaven reserved just for her.
Amanda is an inspiration to us all! Thank you for all you do!!
I can't speak highly enough about Panda Paws Rescue! They are the genuine real deal and they run their rescue with the utmost honesty and transparency. They put 100% of themselves into giving the best care to the pets they bring in and believe in extending care and protection even after adoption. They have helped heal and rehome so many sick and neglected pets, giving them such an incredible quality of life, and have provided loving hospice to so many more. They absolutely deserve their new designation of Top Rated charity.
I have nothing but respect for Panda Paws and what Amanda has done and continues to do for animals she rescues. She is professional and puts the animals welfare and needs first. I've fostered for Panda Paws twice and can tell you it was a good experience. i know Amanda personally and she is a woman of good character. Keep doing the amazing things you do for animals in need of your help Amanda.
Panda Paws rescue... there are not enough adjectives to describe the incredible work Amanda does. Every decision she makes for PPR is from the heart and has ONLY the best interest of the animals, even the decisions that crush her heart. Amanda is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate and compassionate. She gives these animals, most that come to her with severe medical needs, a voice. She gets to know the most intricate details of their personalities and medical needs (if any) which is vital when trying to find the perfect home for these babies. It gives the applicants the ability to know the dogs /animals before even meeting them. Thanks to Amanda's transparency combined with her vast knowledge, I know that I have no need to worry or be disappointed in my choice to follow and support Amanda and her Panda Paws Rescue. PPR is a blessing to not only the animals that come into her care but to the rescue community as a whole. Thank you from the bottom of my doggy loving heart for all you do, each and every day.
Love everything about this rescue! Keep up the great work!
I aspire to be as dedicated to saving animals as Amanda is. Amanda is a true hero. She works tirelessly to save animals. She and her rescue has 100% of my support.
Panda Paws Rescue is a wonderful rescue. Amanda works her butt off to help these rescue dogs. I met her when she came to Crescent City to support London at one of his trial dates. She is a genuinely kind and caring woman. She puts her heart and soul in to what she does, and she does it well. Her passion is for helping, regardless of its dogs, people, or opossums. I firmly support her rescue.
I had the absolute pleasure of adopting my handsome Meatball from Panda Paws Rescue. Amanda and her crew do wonderful things for animals that many people who give up on and euthanize. Luckily Meaty's breeder brought him to PPR when they found out he was a swimmers puppy syndrome pup. Amanda put in the tireless hours of therapy necessary for Meatball to grow up healthy and with the ability to not only walk but run. Her efforts along with the MIA Foundation gave this boy a chance at life. I am very proud to say I have met Amanda and I can never thank her enough. She is an all around awesome woman who I love!!!
Wonderful rescue! Amanda is skilled and generous with animals and humans alike. We need more people like her!
When I lose my faith in people in their treatment of animals, along comes a true superhero, Amanda Panda. God bless you. You inspire, educate, and support others every day. Cream rises to the top.
I have followed Panda Paws Rescue for years and find them to be one of the most upstanding rescues out there. Amanda is a selfless, wonderful person who dedicates her time and energy to the medically needy or hospice critters. I've watched her and her family care for so many wonderful critters, providing love for some that have never experienced love before. Amanda is very knowledgeable in the care of animals and is an all around amazing person! Thank you Panda Paws Rescue for all that you have done and continue to do for the animals!
Amanda is an amazing woman that does phenomenal work. She takes on the most difficult, sickest of the sick and works miracles. Amanda is truly, an animal whisperer. To the animals that find themselves in her care, she is their angel on earth.
Although I live in another state, I was first introduced to Panda Paws through Duncan Lou Who, the two-legged wonderdog, and I began following their Facebook page. As time went on, I started to feel as though I knew Amanda and her family, as well as each of the dogs in their own pack, as well as the new dogs that came in. Even if we're only talking about her own dogs, they all have medical issues and it takes a special kind of person to tackle handling one special needs furkid, let alone +/-5 and new hospice cases. Obviously someone with a heart as big as hers can be the target of people just wanting to dump off their unwanted dogs on someone because they can't be bothered to find another home for it themselves. She is also a target for people who get turned down as potential adopters for these animals who want them just because they're cute. Amanda takes great pains to ensure that when they place a dog, it is with the right home environment for that dog's personality, strengths, and weaknesses. She hates having to say no, but it is necessary for the wellbeing of the dogs she brings in, rehabs, gets vetted, has whatever surgeries are needed done, etc not to have the dogs bouncing back and forth if a family doesn't work out for any reason. Amanda is very open with her feelings, even if they are not always positive. This kind of work is physically and mentally exhausting, and I have seen few people who could put as much of their lives and hearts into what they do. Panda Paws is a wonderful environment and any of the animals that come in are treated like they are her very own children. I am proud to donate to their rescue through Amazon Smile, which is a great way to help her continue her amazing work.
I have followed this rescue as well as many pet pages on my local classifieds. Whenever a hopeless desperate case comes up the first rescue that is mentioned is Panda Paws. Literally before i can type out a request, Amanda already knows about it and is either en route, has recommended a course of action to help, or has arranged for another rescue to help that may be closer. Either way i have never seen an animal go without help including my own! I rescued a puppy that spent it's first year of life tied up in a yard as a lawn ornament. When the family decided to get rid of him to get a guinea pig instead and noone wanted him, i took him. I won a free neuter from Panda Paws and they took care of my ugly thrown away doggy that is now my children's best friend. Amanda embodies something we can all only hope to achieve some day, do all the good you can, whenever you cab, however you can. Some peope are just born special that way and have a special gift to help every soul around them no matter how small, no matter how hopeless. So many hearts have come into her home and have stopped beating in her arms after exhausting every resource to save them. So many tears have been shed. But she never gives up, and for all of us who cannot do anything but advocate and cry along with her, i hope she never does. Noone else can do it like she can, but because of her maybe we can all learn.
I have followed Amanda, Panda Paws Rescue. and her many endeavors and donate where I can for several years. She is an amazing individual with an incredible partner and wonderful children. She goes over and above for all rescues and her family are right there behind her. She is transparent with everything she does for the rescue.
Not many other rescues put as much heart and soul into it as she does. Koodos to her and her family. Her family stands behind what she does and have made a lot of personal sacrifices in the name of the rescue as well. Amanda does her utmost for ALL rescues, they are in great hands with her.
PPR is the first rescue group I've ever donated to. Amanda truly cares about dogs. She doesn't mind sharing and encouraging people to donate to other rescue missions that are not hers and that to me shows just how much she's in it for the dogs. Please donate if you can.
Anyone who gives of themselves the way Mama Panda does deserves a huge thank from everyone. How many people out there would do what she does? If you don't like her personally then move on. This rescue provides so many animals with love and medical help. Keep up the fantastic loving work that you do!
Following everything that Panda Paws Rescue has done and will continue to for our medical needs dogs has been nothing short of amazing. When all others would have put them down PPR has stepped in and have given them a chance at a good life. Unfortunately not all of them have the happy endings but it is the time and unconditional love and support that goes into each and every rescue.
This family does wonders with every rescue that crosses there path. It surely is not cheap to help the special needs pups as I know I have had a special needs pups and would have another.
My heart goes out to PPR for everything they do now and in the future. Amanda and G and family you are awesome
I love seeing momma panda doing incredible rescues, she takes animals that no one else would want.. The stories of all her animals are incredible stories keep up the great work you do.. I wish someday i could do what you do i love animals and helping all the homelss animals would be my dream.. Keep up the good work
Panda Paws rescue is one of the most caring & loving rescue ever. Amanda & her family work tirelessly to ensure the safety & well-being of all!!!!!! I love PANDA PAWS & AMANDA.....rock on Amanda.....those of us who matter love you!
I have followed PPR for several years now, simply as a follower because rescuing has a special place in my heart and this family puts their whole heart into it. If followed as they've dedicated every minute and cent to save the most hopeless of creatures, even if just to give the best quality of life for a couple of days. You won't find a more dedicated group of people in both the rescue and their family life. How brave of them to share with the world every aspect, good and bad. Their work should speak louder than any hateful naysayer.
Amanda's drive, enthusiasm and pure love for all animals but especially those who have more challenging needs is amazing!
Panda Paws Rocks, Amanda and her Family are so Caring and help so many Animals. Thank you all xxx
Amanda is one of the most genuine generous kind hearted people out in this big world. Selfless in her efforts to rescue animals that most people would give up on. Amanda tells the story's of what is happening with the dogs she saves and you get invested in what's happening with each and everyone one of them, until the dogs find there forever homes. Thank you Amanda and your family and your friends that help you achieve something wonderful in saving a dogs life. Kris cheeseman
Panda Paws Rescue is "rescue done right." I am in awe of, and have a deep and abiding respect and admiration for, Amanda and her family, and their dedication and commitment to the animals in their care. I have followed their journey daily for more than four years, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Amanda pours her heart and soul into the care of these beautiful animals, and she has been completely transparent all down the line. Any animal who is fortunate enough to come into her care is very lucky, indeed, as are the adoptive pet parents who receive a Panda Paws graduate. I wish I could rate Panda Paws Rescue more than 5 stars, because they have clearly earned many times more than that.
It has come to my attention that there have been some people who would attempt to besmirch Panda Paws reputation and have attacked Amanda, personally. So it is with the Internet, where people think they can make up whatever lies they want and there will be no repercussions. Jealousy, meanness and the propensity to tell lies are reprehensible traits in a person, which seems to be what has fueled these attacks. I have complete faith in Amanda and in Panda Paws rescue, and they have my full and absolute support.
Panda paw rescue is amazing! Amanda is truly an inspiration! She takes on most cases no one else wants. To truly give her all to make the animals situation better. In some cases just showing them compassion as they cross over the Rainbow bridge. More people should strive to be as selfless as she is!
I am so impressed by Panda Paws Rescue, have been following them forever. I wish there were more people like this in the world. Huge Kudos!!!!
PPR is a wonderful Rescue with Amanda caring for everything from little chicks falling from trees, to very sick Hospice animals... She and her family are beautiful inside and out !!!
Love them all !!!!
Amanda is amazing!!! She makes everything beautiful with her love and kindness to animals and people.
I rarely write reviews and speak out, but I've been a supporter and advocate for PPR for several years. There aren't too many special needs rescues out there mostly because it's heartbreaking, tiresome work. One-two hour feedings day in and day out, not to mention doing everything you can to keep these baby animals alive, but also knowing when enough is enough. What drew me in was not only the type of rescue being done, but also Amanda's heart. I've never seen a more compassionate humanitarian. She's extremely transparent with her work, good news and bad and she's honest almost to a fault. I appreciate that about her, but there's a downside. People will and have attacked verbally. They wallow in self righteous jealous pity. If it wasn't for PPR, lots of dogs would be dead. Some of them, living like kings and queens today because of her tireless effort. Don't believe the haters. At some point somewhere along the line, they got pissed off for not being chosen to adopt or feeling like they were somehow slighted. It's a sad, pathetic life they lead and they have to take it out on someone. Panda Paws Rescue is the #1 special needs rescue anywhere, and by the way, they are responsible for being the leading example in this type of rescue. PPR isn't the only rescue who benefits from her knowledge. So, I rarely if ever give 5 stars, but in this case, a hundred isn't enough. Keep up the good work and thank you for everything you do.
Amanda "Panda" is an inspiration to me. I have read and followed her over the past several years and found her to be honest, compassionate, and experienced in rescue and rehoming of many unique and unusual animals. Brava Bella Panda!! Keep up the good works.
have been a follower of Panda Paws Rescue for many years. The rescue came to my attention when she rescued London (The 2 legged Pit bull), which The abusers of London were brought to trial and Amanda was subpoenaed to testify at. Along with so many many more rescues. She has shared her family at the request of the many people that support her with Love and or donations. Anyone that has a question about the Rescue and even her personal life she usually answer unless of course you are out of line with question and even then she still answers those. She also share medical knowledge so that we understand the Y's or even our own questions. As far as putting other rescues down if she has a negative comment it is usually without names, well that is until the Rescue or person in question makes it known that she is speaking of them. So yes I will if I am lucky enough I will be able to continue to learn from and continue to support them for many more years.
Haters need removing jealousy is a horrible thing !! Momma panda is an amazing person and does not use panda paws funds for her own use she is dedicated to the cause and sometimes goes above and beyond karma will get you so sad people have nothing better to do than rubbish someones good work and character !!!
I've been following PPR for several years and cannot express what an inspiration they are. I'm the mother of 4 kids & 4 dogs and can relate to the chaos that comes with that combination. Watching the success stories of amazing rehabilitations and shedding a tear when one doesn't make it have been constants for me. I am in awe of Amanda & her household for the wonderful gift of love and compassion that they share with us even through their difficult times.
I know that if I donate, my money went somewhere good & honest.
PPR Is an amazing and truly transparent and non-profit supporter of animals and people alike! She and her family are very active in their community and have always been very truthful and open about all of their rescues (the good and the bad) and their personal lives. There is no mystery behind their rescue they run with their own hardwork, blood, sweat and many tears!! They are very selective in their adoption applicants and always try to choose the best fit for their animals... Like few people out there, they are genuinely good hearted people who only want to help people and animals live happy and healthy lives!!!
I have supported this rescue since DLW was a puppy and they were trying to figure out how best to help him. They are the embodiment of what an animal rescue is all about. They sacrifice their lives to help make the lives of sick, neglected, unwanted animals better than they could ever imagine. They add loving pets to the lives of the best-suited adopters. The slander that is aimed at Panda Paws and Amanda are spiteful and unwarranted. They come from people who, for whatever reason, want to damage the reputation of a wonderful ONE WOMEN RUN ORGANIZATION trying to do the best for every animal & person she comes across
Panda Paws and Amanda do amazing work. She puts her heart into every rescue and along with her is her family. I have been following Panda Paws for several years and never questioned how what or why.
Panda paws rescue is more then a rescue. It is a place animals feel loved, cared for and nutured. They go above and beyond for the animals in their care, as well as animals in the community. About 3 years ago one of my dogs was chosen to be spayed for free from panda paws. They did not have to offer that. However, panda paws is looking to stop the issue at hand and willing to facilitate simple spay and neutering for her local community. I have seen many rescues go into her care with no chance at all at a fufilling life, yet with the love, attention and time, panda paws puts into the rescues they turn around and find their forever family. They have always been very open and honest about the issues or medical needs of their rescues and truly puts their heart and soul into finding the perfect long term family for each and every animal that enters their home. If you are looking for a great rescue to support or adopt from, Panda paws is truly the one.
Saf sad sad that those negative reviewers are so jealous of PPR, Amanda and G. What's worse is that their reviews are filled with untruths. I have followed PPR for several years now and I have never seen a more caring, transparent rescue. I donate when I can and have absolitely no problems contributing. Amanda's love and caring for animals and people is above reproach. Thank you Amanda and family for caring and loving like you do.
The ability to protect and care for animals that cannot speak for themselves -all animals- is a gift that Amanda and PPR have given our world time and again. I feel privileged to support the work they do.
Amanda was the only person from any rescue that would even answer my email when I was trying to find out how to help a dog with medical needs that was losing his home (he was not my pet but I was told his story and was asked for help). I looked and emailed from San Diego to New York, so it was not a limited search.
Amanda gave me honest answers. Some were not what I wanted to hear but they were honest.
I have always loved the transparency of PPR and her family life. Her family does amazing work for dogs and owners alike. The love and compassion that come from her, G and the kids is amazing.
Unfortunately PPR and Amanda are not what they seem. Amanda is allowing naive people on the internet fund her life. Really, really sad. She gives rescues a very bad name.
I have witnessed the amazing things Amanda does for animals with special needs. She has a special gift and calling to those in need.
This rescue stands for everything that a rescue should stand for. They never descriminate. They always put the well being of their rescues first, just as they should. I admire this family and all of their efforts and hope to see them continue to save animals of all kinds for years to come.
No one cares as much as Amanda does. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. This rescue is one of the very best!!!
Amazing rescue! Amanda
Of panda paws is an amazing person. She has done so much for many many animals. She always approaches stuff with kindness and positivity. She's does more than rescue, she teaches and informs people. I have learned so much from following her rescue. She always ready to help.
There will be an influx of supportive reviews today I'm sure as this site and the older reviews were only just realized to exist. I've supported Panda Paws Rescue for several years, watched them grow and I can say without a doubt the older "poor" reviews are simply some strangely bitter and angry people taking advantage of the ability to be anonymous here. PPR is an in-home rescue and as such Amanda's family is a big part of it. She's a caring, fun, social and honest person. She shares info transparently about the rescue and is also open and sharing of her family in social media because they're all part of the rescue but also because her supporters care and want to see these things!!! These old reviews are clearly people with a personal agenda and apparently wanting to cause drama where it doesn't belong.
I learned about Panda Paws about the same time Amanda and G got Dubbies, about 3 years ago. I have weekly followed her numerous rescues, seen her ups and downs, successes and ones that didn't make it and broke all our hearts. While I don't know them personally as we live on opposite sides of the country, I came to learn about Amanda, G, Jade, Beast, and their furbabies thru the updates she would post on their website. She was always very candid and forthright about all their dealings with the nonprofit, the rescues, the surgeries & procedures, and the enormous amounts of money spent on each one. I was donating monthly at one time until my own finances forced me to stop but at no time did I feel that whatever I did donate was misused or not greatly appreciated. Same as for Eldad and Hope For Paws, who I think speaks well of Amanda also. I cannot fathom how anyone who does not personally know or is not involved with this family and their rescue could post such scathing reviews without facts or knowledge to support their rants. I feel bad for Amanda & family and ashamed that there are people that have to hate on someone else for whatever reason. Anyone wanting to donate to any rescue has only to do their research to see if that rescue passes muster. Those of us that have been following PandaPaws for years relish and look forward to her posts every day, Cupcakes and Grenades as well. My only complaint is not seeing enough of Dubbies, can't help it, he has always been my favorite, and we all know we have limited time with him. Keep up with all you do Amanda & family, don't mind the haters, they know nothing (like Jon Snow). Blessings to you and all yours.
Amazing Rescue! It has been pure joy to see so many animals rehabilitated and re-homed for their genuine benefit. I'm an avid follower and fan of this non profit and this family puts their heart, soul and time into doing what is best for the animals. There are lots of haters out there. We are all entitled to our opinions, but factual opinions matter, not fairy tales. I'll continue to support and hope that when I relocate up north to Oregon I can rescue one of their pups in need!
I was lucky enough to be gifted getting my puppy fixed at no cost to me by Panda Paws 3 years ago when we took in a puppy for a friend. I had no idea how I was going to pay for this procedure and then they held a "giveaway" for a few people to pay for the operation. I, who never seems to have any luck, was one of the chosen.
Our lives have been enriched by having her and I am so grateful that Panda Paws exists. There are so many dogs out there who are looked over because of medical issues or physical characteristics and Panda Paws helps people understand how these dogs can still have a wonderful enriching life and they deserve live as much as any cute puppy in a store window.
I don't know about the reviews made by people saying that this rescue is a farce, greedy, etc. Those people were grossly misinformed. I recently adopted a 10 year old dog from this rescue. The dog was not cared for by the previous owner & Amanda saved her from God knows what fate because her previous owner posted her for free on Craigslist.
PK (my sweet, mischievous girl) was spayed, had a dental with 16 extractions, multiple mass removals, both eyes removed (due to years of neglect), & was updated on all her vaccines before I adopted her. All of this was paid for by the rescue!!!
I am extremely grateful that I was able to adopt PK & for Amanda who selflessly helps countless animals!
Donate & spread the good word about this great rescue!
Panda Paws is one of the most genuine rescues I have ever come across. The family is up front and honest about the good, the bad, and the ugly of rescue. I have laughed with them, cried with them, rejoiced with them, and mourned with them. The rescue is so open, you quickly begin to feel like part of the family!
Panda Paws is an amazing animal rescue. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, compassion, expertise, and overall love for animals of all species and special needs. We have adopted two dogs from PPR and we could not be more happy with our girls. While it's true that you can't please everyone and haters are gonna hate, I am proud to support PPR and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing new member of their pack.
What an incredibly generous-heart and soul rescue who TRULY rescue the neediest dogs with complete dedication to their well-being of mind, body, and spirit. Amanda is an amazingly special person who gives all of herself for the love of these animals. The world is blessed to have her here.
Amanda and her rescue have inspired me to do all that I can do for less fortunate animals. I was working with a local rescue but had to stop because I kept the animals I tried to foster. I'm not only an animal foster failure, but a child foster failure as well. My house has grown by 3. Thanks Amanda. Keep doing what you do best. You're awesome and when I grow up I want to be just like you. (PS I'm 55. LOL).
Amanda at Panda Paws Rescue is the most altruistic individual I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She gives her heart and soul into rescuing animals with medical needs regardless of the financial and emotional cost of doing so. Words cannot begin to express how compassionate and selfless Amanda is. I truly think she is one of God's angels sent here to care for animals who wouldn't survive without her.
Panda Paws goes well beyond with her kind heart and generosity!! She is a hero in my eyes!! Keep doing what you do!! We need more Amanda's in the world!!
Panda Paws does WONDERFUL work. Because they are fairly high profile and because Amanda is as interesting as she is skilled, they have a few people on a vendetta. There are reviews on this site that are written by a person who has a personal beef with Amanda, and relentlessly tries to smear the reputation of the rescue. PPR gives love, life and opportunities to animals that no one else wants. They are ethical and transparent. The animals they care for don't always survive. When they don't, they pass comfortably and knowing what it is to feel loved. Almost anywhere else they would know only fear and loneliness. But when they do survive, despite the odds, they go on to live happy, full lives. And that is because of the incredible care they receive at PPR. Please, please don't believe the nonsense you read that makes ridiculous claims about Amanda and the rescue. I am a donor and I am CONFIDENT that my money goes exactly where it belongs.
I just read some of these negative reviews and felt the need to comment. She runs a rescue in her home so what exactly is the issue of having personal dogs as well. Making money off Duncan?? Surely you jest as she's spent thousands out of her pocket, not the rescue. I remember clearly when she announced Duncan would be theirs and she wouldn't be taking donations. Now, so her husband works and she doesn't. What's the big deal? If he doesn't mind it then why should you? She spends her time helping animals, what exactly do you, the naysayers do to help animals in need? Panda paws is a great rescue, fantastic close knit family. What they spend their money on isn't anyone's concern. What they spend donations on she's very upfront on. Have you bothered to even ask, or more of a keyboard warrior. I support this rescue completely and I always will. Amanda is a caring, capable top notch rescue and no, I've not been fooled. What I have been is grateful, grateful for all she does.
Panda Paws is a fantastic animal rescue! This world is a better place for the work "momma panda" does. Tireless, selfless and loving through and through. So proud to sponsor her work!
