Mission: Panah is a charitable non-profit foundation with active 501c (3) status. This charity was formed in 2010 to help poor and homeless families. Since 2010 panah charity has been helping the war-torn country of afghanistan. Panah charity's new mission in afghanistan is to build shelters for homeless families and move them from makeshift tents to comfortable rooms with facilities. Panah charity completed the first shelter program in 2016. Panah charity also creates the self-sufficiency opportunity for poor families, builds water wells in poor and very dry villages in afghanistan, and delivers basic food supplies and heating supplies to the families of young children in order for them to survive. Panah charity is also supporting homeless and poor orphans with clothing and school supplies. Panah charity also helps the poor families with their medical bills, cost of surgery, and hospitalization. Panah charity is expanding it's mission and helping more and more families every year.

Programs: Panah charity provided heating supplies to displaced and homeless families during the freezing winter season of 2016 in afghanistan. These families were living below the poverty level in afghanistan and in each household there are at least 7-8 family members including young children. Winter is a deadly season for poor young children in afghanistan. In winter 2016 panah charity was able to deliver heating supplies to over 1200 poor families, 500 blankets to widows, and warm clothing to 900 homeless children living in tents.

panah charity provided basic food supplies to 1137 poor and homeless families in afghanistan in 2016. These are families with young children living below the poverty level. Panah charity provided flour, rice, cooking oil, tea, sugar, onion, potato, and salt. This humanitarian aid fed 7,960 individuals for a month for a total cost of $70,114. Also, panah charity in eid celebration provided sheep meat to thousands of poor people who can't afford to eat meat on a regular basis. The total cost of serving meat to families and children was $18,677.

in 2015 panah charity built 12 water wells in many different villages and locations where poor and homeless families are living. In those locations children had to walk miles to bring drinking water from other water wells and this was very difficult particularly during the summer and winter seasons. By building these water wells panah charity helped needy families and also saved children from transportation of water in buckets from miles away.

Panah Charity Foundation has many projects that help impoverished people in Afghanistan. This charity foundation will dive deep to ensure your donation supports the programs you want. It is well-organized, highly respected and really makes a difference in people’s lives.
One project that touched me is the self-sufficiency program developed for women, this program was designed for women to build basic skills or use skills they had to earn income and create a better living for their children.
Panah Foundation is a truly a great non profit organization.

I am the founder and also a board member of Panah Charity Foundation. This nonprofit was established with my small donation of $4500 in 2010 and since then the mission, honesty, and transparency of this nonprofit attracted hundreds of donors and today luckily Panah Charity Foundation is a successful nonprofit helping over a thousand homeless and needy families in Afghanistan throughout a year.
Panah Charity Foundation provides humanitarian aids to the neediest families and children who are living below the poverty level in Afghanistan. Panah Charity also establishes self-sufficiency programs, builds shelters for homeless families, builds water wells, creates educational programs for children, provide monthly financial assistants to needy families with young children, and many more. Our major upcoming project for 2020 is building 100 housing units in a community for homeless widows and their young children. Our Mission is to transfer 100 homeless families from makeshift tents to living units and help their children to attend school and get education.
Donors are very happy with Panah Charity Foundation because they are certain that their financial supports reaches the neediest and most deserving families. They constantly receive videos and photos of the projects plus their donation receipts. Panah Charity Foundation is a volunteer based nonprofit and there are no monetary or non-monetary benefits for founder or board members.

I’ve been donating and volunteering with Panah since it’s inception, and I can honestly say, it’s one of few charities where I see the direct impact of my donations. All funds go directly in support of Panah’s many projects and humanitarian efforts that help the less fortunate in Afghanistan. From videos, photos, to write ups, I appreciate the level of detail and transparency shared with donors on all its projects.

I like and respect Panah charity for the following reasons: as a donor
1. Honesty/integrity: Every dollar I contribute, I get a receipt and Tax deduction.
2. Transparency, i.e.,if I want to know where my money goes, I check on their website.
3. Overhead cost: Panah unlike other charities, has minimum overhead; appears that the CEO does most of the work, including digital, accountant, PR, and admin., admirable!
4: Most of the money is for those Afghans who are in dire need of humanitarian help in Afghanistan.
5: Efficiency: The CEO is an accountant, I trust she keeps the budget in the black, and decrease unnecessary cost.
6: The CEO is an Afghan- American woman, who established this charity single handedly, with her own savings; and now is a well-known org.
