I volunteer at Stevenson House because it was such a wonderful place for my mother's last 7 years of life. It's affordable housing for independent old folks in an affluent area where most places are beyond reach of all but the most wealthy. It's a warm caring community where people look after each other and have opportunities to socialize and participate in activities as much as they desire. Its grounds are a beautiful place to look at and walk through and it's across the street from a neighborhood shopping center with a grocery store and coffee shop. I strongly recommend checking it out for any senior looking for a small very low rent apartment in Palo Alto CA where they can live independently in a safe inviting community.
