Mission: The organization's mission is to give residents of the palisades, foxhall, berkley, kent, and wesley heights neighborhoods in washington, d. C. , the practical means and confidence to live their lives to the fullest in their own houses as these residents grow older.
Programs: Aging in place - more than 2,000 residents in the washington d. C. Neighborhoods of berkly, foxhall, kent, and the palisades benefitted from informational, social, educational, and volunteerism intiatives of palisades village in 2010. In addition, palisades village took the lead in forming washington are villages, an information-sharing organization that included more than 20 nonprofit aging-in-place prganizations in the district of columbia, maryland, and virginia.
