Causes: Human Services, Neighborhood Centers
Mission: Empower the community to organize and register to vote. Self-improvement activities and classes. Create youth programs and activities. Provide free or discounted educational programs and services. Create various sport teams for all ages.
Programs: 1 arabic classes we opened an arabic program mondays through thursdays from 530 pm to 700 pm where we taught kids between the ages of 6 and 12 arabic. This past school year we had 30 consistent students and we are happy to announce that we are graduating our first batch that has gone through the entire arabic alphabet and can now read and write arabic at an intermediate level. 2 english conversation class english as a second language classes we have been hosting an english conversation class where we engage in basic conversation. In addition to an english as a second language class where students learn how to read, write and speak english. We are happy to see the gradual improvement of our students. On our busiest days, we have seen up to 20 people at one time take advantage of this service. 3 homework help monday through thursday from 430 to 530 pm we provide students of our community the opportunity to receive homework help from dedicated volunteers. On our busiest days, we have up to 30 students at one time benefitting from our program.
