Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Human Services, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs

Mission: Seize the day because life doesn't end with memory loss. At Page Robbins, we believe that each new day is an opportunity to be embraced and each hope filled and happy moment is to be cherished. Our programs are offered as a middle ground between in-home care and long-term residential care. We serve middle aged and older adults in need of a safe daytime social environment by offering opportunities for socialization and participation in engaging activities.

Page Robbins provided unsatisfactory care to a beloved family member.
The staff needs to educate themselves on the side effects of Alzheimer's. They did not understand that memory loss can result in loss of language skills and frustration due to not being able to communicate. Instead of handling my family member's struggle with redirection and kindness, we were told that she needed to learn how to express herself differently. I am not sure how they expected that to work since she does not even know what day it is. She is now receiving care from medical professionals and social workers who know what they are doing, and we have not had any issues with her expressing herself "inappropriately." It is now clear that the problems she was having at Page Robbins were due to inadequate care. I am sorry we did not move her sooner.

My mother attends Page Robbins. When I found this wonderful center it was at a crucial time of need. My father passed away and I needed a place for my mother with Alzheimer to attend 5 days/week. Page Robbins is a safe, warm, friendly environment. My mother love going there, it is her "senior club".
