As long as our troops are serving in countries outside of the United States, Packages From Home will be there to support them.

Target demographics: the brave men and women of America's armed forces

Geographic areas served: locally, nationally, and globally

Programs: To provide food, personal care, and recreational items to deployedamerican troops, at no cost to them. In 2014, we averaged 602 packages a month being shipped to our heroes. We collect donated items from generous patriotic citizens who live all across america. These items include non-perishable food, personal toiletries, and recreational items. Our staff and volunteers carefully pack the donations into u. S. Post office flat-rate priority mail boxes. The boxes are mailed to u. S. Servicemen and women deployed overseas in harm's way. Monetary donations go towards mailing costs and/or purchasing of special items to send to the troops.

packages from home will not waiver in our support of those currently serving, or those who have served. We are building on our current mission to assist our service members with needs they may have as they return home. Pfh has teamed up with carl hayden va hospital supporting their health care for the homeless vet program. We gather needed items and give them 80 care packages every month. Pfh participated in the 2014 arizona standown, we provided 1,200 care packages to homeless vets at this event.

I have been volunteering with Packages from Home for over 10 years, and have been a board member for the last three. I love this organization for 3 reasons:
1) You can't ask for a more worthwhile cause, supporting the men and women of our armed forces, who are protecting our freedoms. I always say that we are sending them a little piece of home to put smiles on their faces. What's better than that?
2) Through our Packages for Hope program, we also work within our community to provide food and hygiene items to our homeless veterans.
3) And the best reason is that the staff is so friendly and makes the events and packing parties so much fun you don't realize how much work you have accomplished until you look at the huge stack of boxes ready to be shipped to our service members!
I will continue to work with Packages From Home for a long time, and I recommend you check them out!

I have volunteered at Packages From Home on multiple occasions with my work peers and it is a very gratifying experience and an organized non-profit. The work they do and that we can participate in makes a difference to those serving our country and is just a small way in which we can show gratitude for that sacrifice. I highly recommend volunteering at and supporting Packages From Home!

I have been a part of Packages From Home for seventeen years from the very beginning when we were having packing parties in our garages and living rooms to the present with a giant warehouse and office for staff. We have always had the same mission to increase the morale of our men and women in our overseas military, and to support all veterans who served their country. I LOVE the feeling of sending some ‘home’ to the active military overseas who are separated from family for long periods, and supporting veterans with thanks and compassion and everyday necessities. And this is accomplished by many volunteers and a small staff. Packages From Home is a wonderful nonprofit organization!

My youngest daughter volunteered with her Girl Scout Troop and the girls loved creating the boxes to be sent abroad! The youngest had so much fun that her oldest sister and some friends decided to volunteer a few times as part of National Honor Society as well! Love that there is something for everyone to help with!

As a retired Army Officer, I am very aware of how packages, like those I had the privilege to put together with friends, affect soldiers far from home and family. These small tokens of appreciation "make the day" of all who receive them. Thank You Packages from Home!

During a leadership development course I was challenged to volunteer in my community. I found Packages from Home and knew I wanted to be a part of what they were doing. Alli Riley made it so easy to organize a time to come in and do a packing. We assembled and filled boxes and had a blast while doing it. I’ve been back two other times and plan on many more visits to the amazing team at Packages From Home:)

Packages From Home is an incredible nonprofit. Their commitment to supporting our veterans and active duty military personnel is making a difference in the lives of our heroes! They're also making a difference in the lives of those who volunteer for them. Their top notch packing party experience is uplifting and impactful. These parties are great for everything from corporate team building to church service projects. Participate with Packages From Home and support their mission. You will not only change the life of a hero, you'll change your own.

I've volunteered with Packages from Home for more that 8 years and am proud to see that a very high percentage of all donations go directly to the troops.
Everyone works hard and has fun packing boxes and doing any of the needed tasks.

I’ve volunteered with Packages From Home a couple of times, and they are wonderful. Easy to work with, organized, and informed. Probably the most impactful part of their facility is their memory wall, which is papered with hundreds of thousands of thank you notes, pictures, and momentos that servicemen and women and their families have sent to them. It makes you realize how impactful their work is!

This organization has sent care packages to many of my friends and family across several military branches. My deployed loved ones were so appreciative and so was I. Love what PFH does for our heroes!
