Provide a link between land management agencies and retirees through an association newsletter and other forms of communication, emphasizing the importance of the history of events, people equipment, etc. , as they affect natural resource management through time, promoting relationships beneficial to the conservation of the northwest's natural resources. Encourage retiring forest service persons and their associates to maintain and nurture their professional and personal heritage.
Programs: Continued to provide a contact with youth groups and others for information about pacific northwest forest heritage, and education materials, meetings with interested groups about pacific northwest forests, educational seminars and banquets for retiring forest service workers.
