Horrible leadership from an employee’s point of view. I was there from Feb 2017 until August 2017 and never in my life have I ever felt so degraded and disrespected. Leadership was aware their employees were being degraded, disrespected, and downright lied on while having the tamerity to even admit such. I was instructed to keep leadership apprised so they could back me up. I was required to send emails everytime I left my desk, including trips to the restroom and to lunch to prove my whereabouts. I had to take pictures of my work attire every morning at my desk to prove I was within regulations and to keep FPS personnel from being able to lie on me. I sent those emails in blindcopy as well as pictures to the CEO and he assured me he would back me up. Instead of showing support and having our backs, they chose to protect their contract with FPS, look the other way and terminate me and at least one other for no reason. He literally apologized to me for the situation while terminating me. I don’t know how you can, straight up, admit your employee did nothing wrong but then be perfectly fine with firing them anyway. Complete lack of respect and regard for my life and my family’s life. I’m just glad I didn’t really need that job and found something else relatively quickly afterwards. I would urge anyone who decides to seek employment here to always be looking for another job and watch your back. Save all emails and keep accurate notes.

Mission: Our purpose is to provide employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Programs: Pacific coast community services is a non-profit agency (npa) operating under the abilityone program specifically the javits-wagner-o'day (jwod) act title 41 of the united states code. Our purpose is to provide employment opportunities to people with disabilities. Pccs is an affiliate of sourceamerica, a national nonprofit which provides regulatory oversight and assists us in obtaining government contracts for the purpose of providing employment opportunities to people with disabilities. During this past year, we have employed 25 (fte) people with disabilities under our contracts with, federal protection service, housing & urban development, us department of agriculture, and the internal revenue service. Continued on schedule o we have substantially exceeded the abilityone established goal of 75% of the direct labor hours being performed by people with disabilities. Most of our employees have been hired through the community colleges of california workability iii programs, the southern california rehabilitation services, inc. (both contractors to the california department of rehabilitation) and the u. S. Department of veterans affairs vocational rehabilitation program. Our employees have been previously considered unemployable and recipients of various types of assistance from these entities.
