Mission: The mission of Owen Daniels' Catch A Dream Foundation is to provide opportunities, support and resources to children and families in need. Established in 2010, the primary focus of the Catch A Dream Foundation is to provide critically and chronically ill children throughout Greater Houston with daily support and life changing experiences. Our goal is to have touched the lives of more than 400,000 children and their family members by 2013.
Programs: Owen’s Locker Owen’s Locker enriches the lives of chronically and critically ill children by providing them and their families with access to notebook computers, PlayStation Portables, PSP games, DVD players, DVD’s and games to help pass time during treatment and recovery. Owen’s Locker appears in two signature hospitals in the Houston area: Texas Children’s Hospital—was launched on June 22,2011. Touches the lives of more than 250,000 patients and their families each year. Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital— will launch in Spring of 2012. Will touch the lives of more than 125,000 patients and their families each year. owen's Operation North Pole Each December, Owen and a few of Santa's elves visit Houston-area hospitals to pass out gifts, visit with families and partake in hospital activities, like bingo, to help spread holiday cheer.
