Mission: Since 1995, Outward Spiral Theatre Company (OSTC) has produced theatrical works centered solely on the lives, issues, and unique stories of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. All productions have been in the service of OSTC's mission statement, which is: To create a welcoming artistic atmosphere that illuminates and openly celebrates gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender cultural experiences. OSTC is in a unique position, as there are no other theatre companies in Minnesota, or in any of the states surrounding Minnesota, whose sole mission is to serve the GLBT and allied community. With a dedicated staff and Board, several sources of community support and talented artists from the Twin Cities and beyond, OSTC has produced fifteen productions to date, including a tour to greater Minnesota. These productions have covered a wide spectrum of subject and theatre styles that speak to a diverse range of GLBT and allied people.
