Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation is working so hard to get youth into the Outdoors. I am so excited about what their curriculum and products will do for our district. Not only did they do all the work they were also willing to answer all my questions on the way, with a very quick turnaround time. Without their efforts, it would have taken years to accomplish what they have been able to do for us in six months. I would highly recommend working with this group or supporting them financially.
The Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation provides the opportunity for ALL students to connect and learn, all the while participating in activities they enjoy. It is pretty amazing to hear former students say that because of this class, they gained a "new lifelong passion!"
The curriculum provides such varied activities and teaching methods, you are never at a loss for fun activities supported by detailed lessons backed by research and expert experience. The Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation is having a positive and lasting impact on over 100,000 kids/year through their in-school, outdoor education. In the last 6 years of being involved as both a donor and trustee, I've seen the number of kids impacted annually triple over that timeframe and the momentum continues. The foundation is lean, efficient, and most importantly, effective in improving kids' confidence, helping kids find a sense of belonging, improving attendance/behavior, and teaching skills that kids will enjoy with family and friends for a lifetime!
As someone who has grown up outdoors, I find happiness in nature which is why I'm an advocate for conservation and all it entails in our schools! My experience with OTF has been nothing short of awesome.

Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation does an amazing job reaching hundreds of thousands of students through its physical education curriculum teaching lifelong skills. In many schools, there is a waiting list for these wonderful classes. Students who are not involved in other activities find comradery and a community by participating while learning all about the outdoors. Students have discussed their new appreciation of the outdoors with me personally - many times they are not able to pursue these activities with a parent. They are reaching a new understanding of the importance of conservation. Many teachers who get involved learn right along with their students. The joy on all of their faces shows the value of the outdoors! All of this is made possible by a very small, dedicated staff that can work miracles. Personally, being involved with this group from a corporate level has enabled our team to meet students, participate in outdoors events and support fundraising efforts. This brings our team a new focus on both experiencing the outdoors as a group and assisting others to learn about our important resource - The Great Outdoors!
Super responsive and helpful - the OTF curriculum is incredibly detailed and has so many units to choose from and is packed with supporting resources to make implementing the outdoor education so much easier. This has been a massive hit with my students - they have really enjoyed the different activities and learning new skills for the outdoor environment and outdoor recreation. I have been recommending the OTF curriculum to everyone I know!
Through its Outdoor Adventures program, the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation has reached children in more than 1,000 schools across the country. It teaches them valuable skills and lessons that build confidence, stir interest, and lay the basis for appreciation for nature and all it has to offer. People who enjoy the outdoors and participate in heritage activities like fishing, hunting, camping, boating, wildlife watching, and hiking, are among our nation’s best conservationists, so it’s never too early to share the values of caring for and enjoying our natural resources. OTF does it in a widespread and meaningful way.
Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation has elevated our lifetime/leisure/outdoor education classes! We are integrating with other departments, meeting not only state standards, but also workplace readiness standards so ALL students are successful. These skills are ones that they can take into adulthood and thrive! A wonderful group to work with!!
OTF is absolutely wonderful! Their programs/curriculum are great for all. Easy to implement, continued support, great options for funding, the list goes on... I would recommend OTF to any district that currently has an outdoor program OR is looking to start one.

Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation (OTF) is the most amazing outdoor adventure curriculum available to students, teachers and schools anywhere. The curriculum is standard based and aligned and OTF has specialized equipment to help teachers deliver a quality program and offer students experiences they may not have the opportunity to have anywhere else. OTF takes care of their teachers with continued support in the form of regular emails with teaching strategies and tips and a monthly newsletter with additional resources. OTF encourages inclusive practices and supports all students. I am happy to work with Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation to change students' lives!
